Standing near the iron gate of the high-security block were Namjoon, Hobi, and Yoongi..The three men turned as footsteps echoed against the damp concrete..They were prepared to deal with a hysterical, hyperventilating Taehyung,a broken man who would need to be held up just to walk..Instead, they looked at tae in complete, heavy silence..
Taehyung stood surprisingly straight..His pale face was devoid of the frantic terror from that morning, replaced by an unsettling, ethereal calmness that felt entirely unnatural.. His eyes weren't wild with panic,they were quiet, dark, and deeply resolved..*

*Taehyung stopped dead in his tracks at the threshold..The world outside,the NSI, Luhan's poison, the media, the cold bars, and the ticking clock,instantly collapsed into complete, absolute irrelevance..They simply stared at each other..It felt as though decades had passed since they had last touched.. It felt like two souls meeting again across a lifetime of pain, separated by iron and concrete, carrying secrets far too heavy for the dark space between them.. Jungkook looked at tae like a dying man seeing his salvation, his eyes welling with an agonizing mix of raw love and suffocating shame..Taehyung looked at him with an unyielding, heartbreaking tenderness, memorizing every line of his face, every shadow under his eyes, and the exact shape of his hands.. namjoon silently gestured to Yoongi, Hobi, and Jimin..*

Namjoon(whispered, his deep voice thick with emotion): Give them space..

Yoongi(voice low, rough, and laced with an uncomfortable edge): He looked different..

Namjoon(turned to look at him, wiping a weary hand over his face): he was in shock, Yoongi.. he's been sedated, he hasn't eaten__

Yoongi(cut him off sharply, his eyes narrowing): No, Namjoon.. That wasn't shock..You saw him last night..he was hyperventilating, completely spiraling, collapsing on the stairs because of the bail deadlock.. But just now??he walked in here like a ghost.. No tears.. No manic trembling.. His breathing was completely steady.. It's too calm..Something feels deeply wrong..
