*The bedroom was quiet, illuminated only by the soft, warm glow of the bedside lamp as Taehyung smoothed out the silken sheets, getting the bed ready for the night.. The faint sound of the door clicking shut echoed in the room, and tae turned his head to see Jungkook entering..jk stood by the entrance for a brief moment, his dark eyes locked onto tae, tracking his movements with a quiet intensity.. Breaking the silence, Jungkook walked over to the bedside table..He pulled open the top drawer and reached inside, his fingers wrapping around a gleaming object..He closed the drawer softly and approached the bed, stepping right into Taehyung's space and gently catching his wrists to stop him from fixing the sheets..*

Tae(looked up, blinking in confusion): What??

*Jungkook didn't answer right away..He kept his gaze fixed on tae's face as he gently guided tae to sit on the edge of the mattress.. Then, moving with a heavy, deliberate reverence, jk sank down onto one knee before tae..jk took tae's left hand in his, turned tae's palm upward, and slipped a delicate bracelet around tae's wrist, fastening the clasp..Taehyung's eyes widened as the metal cooled against his skin..The bracelet caught the lamplight, and a rush of memories hit him..He had almost completely forgotten about this specific bracelet..*

Tae(breathed,his thumb tracing the bracelet): Where.. where did you find this??I thought I lost it..

*Jungkook lifted tae's hand to his lips, pressing a lingering, soft kiss against tae's knuckles..When he looked up, his voice had dropped into a quiet, softened register, yet the underlying tone was fiercely serious..*

Jk(jaw tightening slightly): That day..The day you were taken..It was lying in the dirt right in front of the school gate.. It must have snapped off when they grabbed you..

Jk(let out a ragged breath, his grip on tae's hand tightening just a fraction): I found it when I arrived.. If it hadn't fallen.. I would have reached you on time.. I wouldn't have let them touch you..

Jk(looked deeply into tae's eyes, his expression laced with a raw, protective urgency): Be very careful from now on,Tae..Promise me you will always wear this, no matter what..Never take it off..

*Taehyung stared at him, not fully understanding the cryptic weight behind his words,unaware that the bracelet contained a highly advanced, microscopic NSI tracking chip he had personally embedded into the metal,right after their marriage.. But looking down at his kneeling form, seeing the vulnerability and the deep-seated worry etched into his handsome face, tae didn't need to know the technicalities..he knew jk's soul..he understood that beneath jk's powerful, fearless exterior,jk was still profoundly terrified of losing him again.. The trauma of tae's kidnapping was a shadow jk couldn't shake..*

Tae(soft, melting warmth bloomed in his chest,he leaned down, cupping jk's jaw with his free hand, his thumb stroking jk's cheek to soothe him): I will always wear it, Jungkook.. I promise I won't lose it, and I won't do anything that makes you worry..

*Jungkook looked up at him, the tension slowly bleeding out of jk's shoulders at tae's reassurance.. He didn't stand up, instead, he leaned forward and gently laid his head down on tae's lap, burying his face against tae's thighs..Taehyung smiled tenderly, his fingers immediately weaving into jk's soft, dark hair, gently massaging jk's scalp..*

Jk(murmured into the fabric of tae's clothes, his voice turning ice-cold as his focus shifted to the hunt): From tomorrow, I'm giving everything I have to this case..I'm going to find that bastard at any cost.. I won't leave a single stone unturned.. I'm going to dismantle the Black Viper group piece by piece, and I am going to tear Lee Luhan apart for what he did..
