Chapter 1

London, England 2 years later

Cassy P.O.V.

"Candy! Cassy! Claire! Whatever name your going by these days! Get your ass over here and hug me!" yelled my best friend Oliver at me.

"Why hi there Peirce! Long time no see! I've missed you." I said with a chuckle as he grabbed me in a bear hug, "Oh, and I'm going by Candy Winters these days." He just laughed and kept hugging me.

I know what your thinking: Why does she have more than one name? Well let me just tell you.

Over the last two years, I've been traveling all around the world. Meeting new people, making new friends, and even becoming a writer along the way.

But, during this time, my name has not been Cassy; it's mostly been Claire, but now it's Candy.

You see, after I left Ireland, I changed my name so HE wouldn't find me or anyone from my past, for that matter. I didn't want to be kept from exploring the world.

So, I changed my name and appearance every now and then. But my names are used more for just hiding, but I'll get to that later.

Anyways, Oliver is one of my friends I met on my travels. He met me when I was Claire McWilliams. I got to know him very well, I even stayed with his family for alittle bit. Overtime, he found out most of my story. Since then, he has been my best friend and pretty much my brother. But I haven't seen him in 6 months.

Which brings me back to the fabulous hug.

"Oli, you are crushing me and would like to breathe." I said with a slight chuckle.

"Oh be quiet! I've missed you!", he stepped back but kept at arms length looking me over," and the last time I saw you, you were named Claire and your hair was blonde with blue tips and now it's red. You never stop surprising me." He said with a smile before letting me go.

"Well, I like to switch it up every now and then." I couldn't help but give him a smile.

"Anyways, what are you doing here in London? When did you get here?Visiting for a little bit? Where are you staying? What-"

"Woah, slow down there fella," I cut him off. "I've actually been here for a while." He looked at me with shock in his eyes.

"Really? How long and why?" He seemed very interested now.

"Um," I was very hesitant to give him my answer; I don't know if he'll believe me, "Well, I actually been living here for about 4 months now."
