Delapre Park

Delapre park is effectively a massive field with a cafe, golf course, and stage at one end. Or that's what we could see through the gate anyway.

We joined the queue for the ticket office to get our tickets stamped. In front of us were quite a few people, mostly girls but i was surprised to see some guys there. We had been waiting at the back of the queue for about 5 minutes before two girls came skipping up behind us giggling and squealing.

The first one was tall and skinny, brown eyed with mid-length dark brown hair. She was wearing black skinny jeans and converse with chains on and had dark eyeliner around her eyes. I would have thought of her to be more of a goth and into rock music, if it wasn't for her wearing a black TW top. The second was smaller, still skinny, with lighter brown mid-length hair and greeny brown eyes. she was wearing black skinny jeans, knee high converse boots and a purple TW top.

"OH MY GOD i can't believe we are actually here!" Squealed the first girl.

"I KNOW RIGHT!" squealed back the second.

They both screamed and then burst out laughing. Me and Chantelle couldn't help but join in.

"What are your names?" i asked them in an effort to make friends.

"I'm Jade, but you can call me Jadey" Said the first girl. "And this is Bethany but everyone calls her Beth." she said pointing to the second girl. "What are your names?"

"I'm Karen and this is Chantelle." I said.

"Can i call you tinytot?" asked Jade.

"Er i suppose so... most people call me something height related anyways."

Me and Chantelle reached the front of the queue and got our tickets stamped. we then were told to wander around the park until 4:30. two hours until the concert started and when the gates would open.

"Hey tinytot!" Jade shouted. She was at the front of the ticket office queue now.

"What?" I asked turning around.

"Nothing just checking that you will reply when i call you that" she said with a smile. "Actually there is something. Can me and Beth wander around the park with you two?"

"Er yeah i dont see why not." I said.

We wandered into the middle of the park and bought ice-crams. We then sat on the grass and talked for a while.

"So who are you here to see?" I asked Beth.

"Er all three acts. I've been a fan of TW and Lawson for ages and i heard of The Vamps a while ago and have loved them since. What about you guys...OI!" She shouted as Jade put Ice cream on her nose. We all burst out laughing. 

"All three aswell we have been fans of TW and Lawson since they began really and have been listening to The Vamps ever since we found out that they were the support act here."

"Anyone attending the Alive at Delapre concert please start to make your way to the gates now." The announcement said.

We all screamed and ran towards the gates determined to get there before most people so we had a better view.

Half an hour later we were all standing three rows back from the front of the concert area. To pass the extra time before the concert started Chantelle played Battleground out loud on her phone. That got us and most of the people around us jumping around like crazy and screaming.

"I can't believe this is happening!" i squealed at Chantelle.

"I know right!" she squealed back. We both jumped around flapping and then burst into fits of giggles.

Everyone in the concert area then slowly turned to face the stage as the warm up music started to get louder and the lights on the stage slowly brightened.
