Chapter 1: The New Kid

David was going about his normal routine, math, science, history, and then gym came. Today they were playing his favorite sport, football. He had loved football since he was young and he was incredibly good. He was excited for gym, but that would have to wait. Mr. Mayor, came into their gym class right before they were about to head outside, David was running towards the exit when he was called back to sit down.
"Class, there is a new girl that has come to our school her name is Sarah Jane." Mr. Mayor spoke. David paused for a moment. "Sarah Jane, that's a really pretty name." David thought. Mr. Mayor continued to talk but David had drifted off, thinking about what she looked like, and how beautiful she probably was. Mr. Mayor had spoken the only words David wanted to hear "Sarah Jane, come on in." David regained focus as Sarah stepped into the room, David felt his jaw drop. He quickly closed it so no one would notice. Mostly so Sarah wouldn't notice. He felt his face get hot, almost as if he were blushing. But he couldn't quite figure out why. He let it slide while Sarah Jane told them a little about herself. David was star struck. He never wanted her to stop talking. She had the voice of an angel and a smile that caused everyone around to feel at ease. Then came football, David wanted to ask Sarah to be his partner but his best friend Karli beat him to it, oh well, hopefully her and Karli would become good friends by lunch so they could all sit together. David was throwing the ball back and fourth to Aidan, they had played on the same team ever since they were little boys. And they were best friends.
"So, I see you like the new girl, that's a twist you never like anyone." Aidan called out his best friend. David stopped, he had a confused and angry expression on his face. But he just ignored Aidan. "This is going to be one long day." David thought.
