When I first started this fic, I genuinely thought it would reach 100 chapters. But while writing this final chapter, it just... felt right. It felt like the perfect place to end the story. Anything added after this would honestly just be filler, and I never wanted to drag the fic on simply for the sake of reaching 100 chapters.
I know there are still things left unseen. There is a lack of signature moves and evolutions. But I think that is part of what makes Pokémon special in the first place. The journey never truly feels finished.
There is always another route to explore, another battle to fight, another evolution waiting somewhere down the line. The adventure keeps going, even when we are no longer watching it directly.
