hmorw2- How old are you?
princes_rose- I am 25.
hmorw2- When did you first show an interest in writing?
princess_rose- I've always loved writing. I could write from a very young age and used to write a lot of random stories; I remember one involved a magic kiwi haha.
hmorw2- What are your favourite genres to read and write?
princess_rose- I love to read romantic stories, they're most definitely my favourite and I like them to be funny and sweet. Lately, I've started reading a lot of werewolf stories on Wattpad - I like the idea of having a soulmate who you're destined to be with forever. I like to write romantic stories too.
hmorw2- What made you choose this genre?
princess_rose- I think a lot of people like to read stories where you get to see a relationship develop and become something more special. I like to also try and incorporate real life issues in with the romance as nothing is ever sunshine and roses in real life.
hmorw2- What/who inspired you to write!
princess_rose- I enjoy writing the stories for myself, I often re-read my stories. In the past I used to write a lot of fan fiction stories about some of my favourite bands as my friends liked to read them. I've always loved to read and write so I guess it's just that what inspires me.
hmorw2- How would you describe yourself?
princess_rose- A lot of my friends say that I am the "cleverest dumb person" that they know. I am clever (not to blow my own trumpet - not Einstein clever, but clever enough), but I am also a total bimbo. For example, while talking on my mobile phone to my mum the other day I started panicking that I could not find my phone in my bag. I'm friendly and try to get along with everyone and I love to sing and dance. I am mature (I have to be cos I'm a mummy), but I can be so silly and immature too.
hmorw2- Who is your favourite author?
princess_rose- JK Rowling - the world of Harry Potter is just amazing! She has a crazy good imagination and I am in awe of her. My mum actually had dinner with her at 10 Downing Street and got my brother her autograph, but not me - I will never forgive her for that! I don't think I will ever read another book series that keeps me as enthralled as the Harry Potter one has and I hope my little girl becomes a Harry Potter nerd too.
hmorw2- What are/is your favourite book/s? (On wattpad and/or in real-life)
princess_rose- The Harry Potter books, Flowers In The Attic by Virginia Andrews, The Chronicles Of Narnia. I also love all of the Jacqueline Wilson books, I've been a fan since I was young. On Wattpad I enjoy reading loads, including: the Death Is My BFF series, The Cell Phone Swap, My Dark Knight, Him and Me, etc.
hmorw2- What book did you first read on wattpad?
princess_rose- I'm not sure, though I think it might have been The Kissing Booth by Reekles. That was definitely one of the first books I read on there and it's amazing to think that she now has had it published. It wasn't even completed when I read it.
hmorw2- What are your hobbies and interests outside of wattpad?
princess_rose- I like to sing and dance, though it's just in the privacy of my home. I like going to visit my friends to spend time with them and maybe go out for a few cheeky cocktails and a night of dancing. It's not something I do at the moment, but I am looking at trying to get into Archery; I'm actually naturally good at it so I think it will be a fun hobby - I'm from Nottingham so maybe I'm Robin Hoods long lost relative.
hmorw2- What's the career path you're taking?
princess_rose- I currently work in the social care sctor, looking after individuals who have mental illnesses. I used to be passionate about it and I did want to train to be a Mental Health Nurse, but recently I've started to lose my love for the job. I'm currently trying to get a job at a local high school where I would be in charge of making sure students attend lessons and helping those who are experiencing difficulties at school/ home. I think it will be a nice change and the hours won't be as hectic.
hmorw2- Is there any writing advice you want to give to other authors? Write for yourself. princess_rose- Not everybody is going to love your story and sometimes it may remain undiscovered, but as long as you love it that is all that matters. Also, take the time to read any comments/ messages you get about your story as they can really boost your self esteem as well as provide constructive criticism.
