Chapter 6
Scarlett Point of View:
“Finn! Don’t push me off” I push him back
He laughed. “No, I’m helping you” He held out his hand.
I push his hand away, “I don’t need your hand I could do it myself. I probably could go faster than you!”
“Yea, right! Come trace me!” He skates away. I follow him trying to catch up with him.
“No fair, cheater! You start earlier than me” my penny board lost control and I was about to fall off.
Caspar caught me by his arm. “Be careful!” He looks into my eye and said. I froze for 10 second. Oh my god, he finally talks to me the first time. I’m dying from the inside. The butterflies in my stomach are killing me. He let go his hand which was around my waist.
“Are you okay?” Finn asked
“Yea, nothing really happened!”
Caspar Point of View:
Her hazel brown eyes are beautiful. I can’t stop staring at her eye! I just want to grab her and kiss her. I got to shake out of it. Finn and Scarlett are ready on top of each other and they only met for 5 hours. I don’t even know where this is going!
Finn Point of View:
I grab her hand. “Don’t worry, I’m here for you!”
She laughed as if I was joking but I wasn’t, I really want to be with her.
She let go my hand “I have to go soon, Finn! It’s almost midnight!”
“Okay! Let me drive you home!”
“No, I’ll take the Taxi, it’s easier! Thank you anyway, I have an amazing day!” She hugs Zoe and Tanya, and said bye to rest of us. She starts to walk away.
“Scarlett!” I yelled. Everyone turned around so did Scarlett, she give me the confused face, and everyone else was just smiling. I ran toward her.
“Mhm… I just wanted to say bye!”
“Seriously, just bye?” she raised her eyebrow
“And hug!” She lean forward and give me a hug and let go.
“Well, I seriously got to leave now, Finn!” she starting to walk away again, I grab her by her hand to stop her from leaving and pull her tighter. I was able to kiss her. But she turned around. I kissed her cheek.
“Finn, what are you doing?”
“I don’t know!”
“Look, it’s not what you think! I really have to go.”
We both started to walk the opposite way. The distance between us go farther and farther. Too far to see her anymore and then she was gone.
Jack asked “What happen? You asked her out?”
“No, dude, what are you thinking, I was just saying bye?”
Jack fake cough, “cough, and cough, right, yes!”
Zoe joined the conversation “Did she reject you finny? Is okay, we are here for you!”
“No, I didn’t even ask her out! We were just playing!”
