"Catch!" Taylor yelled tossing the backpack to Leela
"Bye Mommy!" She yelled scrambling out the door
" Bye Hunny see you after school!" She said forcing a smile
Leela ran out the door and onto the bus she waved at Taylor one more time before the driver slammed the doors closed.
Taylor's smile vanished she slowly wandered into the living room and plopped onto the couch.
Bleep bleep
Her phone rang.
"Hello this is Alice" she said sighing
"Alice you were supposed to be her 3 HOURS ago" Shrieked Stella
"Vevo CANNOT wait!" She finished
"Yes m'am I'll be there any second" returned Taylor
Stella hung up.
Taylor shook 4 pills out of the jar and swallowed them whole before jogging outside jacket in hand to her old Saturn wagon.
"Mint chocolate double shot mocha frappechino with skim milk please" Taylor asked
"And a coffee no room." She added
"Name?" Asked the barista biting the end of her pen, surely bored
"Alice T." She murmured
"Thank you have a good day" droned on the barista
Taylor slid over to the counter
"Alice" called a lady with blonde hair smiling so wide her chin might have fallen of right then and there.
No one moved.
"Alice?" She called again
All of the other customers just went on with their busy lives
"No Alice?" Asked the young girl
Taylor just stood there staring right at her.
"Are you Alice?" She asked her looking into Taylor's lifeless eyes
"Yes" she whispered, turned and left
