Diary of a Survivor

Survivors- Chapter 1; Andrea Smith, Entry 1

Everyone is terrified. There are "aliens" attacking killing, turning. No one in the other states know quite yet since the internet, T.V., everything is out. That it isn't really aliens, no it is zombies. The second you see them you can tell, based on what everyone was told however it is apparently aliens. The whole world is already migrating and hiding waiting for the attack, it is taking a while to get to us here, we are in a mine. Now we are safer but here is what is happening.

We heard it on the news just as fast as we saw it, the apparent "aliens" were zombies. We knew we had to move our parents were at work where the zombies were coming from. As sad as it was we had to leave them. We fled we thought this would be a good idea it has heavy doors, weapons, and plenty of escape routes. There are some other survivors nearby so if they are nice then we have a full proof plan otherwise we are going to die. The original plan to flee was smart though we were getting some food and one of the people said everything got mobbed and leaving is the smartest plan. We talked to them and said well everywhere will get mobbed if there is a higher infect than kill rate. They agreed and said that we can join up in a month or two when we both know we can get through this.

It has now been two weeks and we are doing fine we met up and decided this is where we will stay. They are getting supplies as we fortify now. In another two weeks they will come back and we will hide out here in till things get desperate. However things almost did we lost 2 members and now only have 7 but they said if they couldn't survive that they won't be able to survive a real mob. We agreed and had a small funeral for an hour or two. Once they come back then after another fe weeks it will be our turn to get supplies. I am a bit scared because it is a lot more dangerous. At the moment they are training us with a few zombies on a time, although considering how some of us did with the mini mob I think we should be fine.

Any way that is all that has been happening I am keeping this so that if anyone finds us we have our history. Also so that when we die others may have some hints and tricks of us. Will probably write again when we have gotten supplies all for now.
