Chapter 3

Ray Pov:

I wrote Ava address down. I pulled off. I just had to tell Roc that I say her. I decided to call him.

"Wassup," he said.

"Nothing, I need to tell you something in person," I said.

"Why cant you tell me in person," he said.

"Because you wont believe me," I said.

"Mane, where you at so I can come meet you," he said.

"East side. At the McDonald's," I said.

"Nigga all the way out there," he said.

"Yeah nigga. Hurry up and come on," I said.

"I'm on the way," he said.

"Ok," I said.

He hung up the phone.

I want to know how is going to react to the news I tell him.

Roc Pov:

I hopped out the bed going to the closet putting on my clothes.

"Where you going," Chrissy said.

I got to meet up Ray somewhere," I said.

"Why you lying," she said.

This girl is really getting on my nerves.

"I ain't lying. Ray just call me. Why you all up in my business," I said.

"It is my damn business to know where you are going," she said.

"You know you really need to chill. I can do what the hell I want to do, I'm a grown man. Like i said I'm going to meet up with Ray. I will be back later," I said.

She didn't say nothing else. She just roll her eyes and walked off.

Once I done getting dress, I grabbed my car keys, and walked out the door. I hopped in my Range Rover, making my way to the east side.

Ray Pov:

I was at the McDonald's right now. I was waiting on Roc to show up.

A few minutes later, I saw his truck pulled up. He parked and h]got in the car and made his way inside.

He walked over to where I was sitting at.

"Wassup," he said giving me a dapped.

He sat down in the chair.

"Wassup," I said.

"What you got to tell me," he said.

"I don't think that I should tell you in public," I said.

"Nigga so you mean to tell me. You drag me over to east side. Called me and said that you got something very important and meet up. And when I get here, you don't want to tell me," he said.

I should have met him in private. Knowing Roc if i tell him this news he will be mad as hell. Well here goes nothing.

"I saw Ava," I said.

"Huh," he said.

"I said. I saw Ava," I said.

Roc Pov:

I couldn't believe what Ray was telling me. Why is telling me this. i have move on

"So," I said.

"So Nigga. You know you still care about her," he said.

"How is she doing," I said.

"She has change,"he said.

"What do you mean she has change," I said.

"Mane you going to have to see for herself," he said.

"Where does she live," I said.

"She live here," he said, handing me a piece of paper with her address on there, and her apartment number.

"Thanks mane," I said.

"Your welcome. Good luck," he said.

I walked out of McDonalds' and got in my car.

I really didn't what to go see Ava. I don't want to face her. But I had to go see her. Ray say that she has change I want to know what he meant by that.

I put Ava's address in my GPS.

"In Front Of Ava's Apartment"

I finally made it to her apartment. I can say that she was living kind of good. I decided to wait in the car a few minutes to get my head together.

Once I got my head together, I decided to go to her door. Here goes nothing.

I found her apartment number. I knock on the door.

Ava Pov:

I just got home, think god. I had a hard day at work. I worked overtime today. I had to make that extra money.

Once I got in the house. I gave Anthony a bath and feed, and put him to sleep. Hopefully he will stay sleep. I went to the laundry room and got the clothes at the dryer and put it in the basket. Once i was down. I walk to the living room and started to fold my clothes.

I had a little homework, I had to do, so I decided to start on it.

Just when I was about to start ion it, I heard somebody knock on the door. I didn't know anyone that was coming by. Not thus late.

I made my way to the door. I tried looking at the peep hole, but it was so dark, I couldn't see who was out door.

I opened the door. And there he was.

"Long time no see huh," he said.
