Chapter 9

Mia Pov:

"At the Mall"

I was waiting on Ava to here, so we could catch up. A few minutes later, she walked in pushing Anthony in the stroller.

"AVA," I yelled.

She turned around and made her way over to me.

"Hey girl," she said giving me a hug.

"Hey," I said.

"How you been doing, you know after the shooting," she said.

"Well good you know. But I was wondering what happen to you?," I said.

"Mia I just had to get away. It was to much going on," she said.

"I under stand. I still can't believe you has a baby," I said.

"I know right. Anthony was the best thing that happen to me," she said.

"I'm so glad you best up Chrissy. Do you know how long I have been waiting for that moment," I said.

"I had to she was talking shit," she said.

"She because don't nobody like her," I said.

"And the nerve of her trying to say Anthony is not Roc. Come on now," she said.

"Everybody know thats his baby. They look just like twins," I said.

"I don't know why Roc is with her," I said.

"Girl you know that it's not going to last long," she said.

"He just trying to replace you," I said.

"He know he can't do that," she said.

We spent for hours at the mall, catching up. We both went home 9.

Ava Pov:

I just got home. I really had a nice time with Mia. I'm glad to have her back in my life.

All of a sudden my phone went off. It was a text from Roc.

Roc: I'm outside

Me: ok you can come up

A few minutes later there was a knock. I opened the door.

"Hey," I said.

"Wassup," he said.

He had a duffle bag in his hand. I let him in. I closed the door behind him.

"Where he at," he said.

"In his room," I said.

I watched as he sat his stuff down and went in Anthony's room. A few minutes later he came back holding him.

"I thought he was sleep," I said.

"He aint sleep because he know that I was coming," he said.

"Where am I sleeping at," he said.

"Well Anthony has a another bed in my room.You can sleep in my bed and I will sleep on the couch. Ot would be easier for you," I said.

"You don't have to do that," he said.

"I don't mind," I said.

"Yo back going to be hurting," he said.

"No it's not," I said.

"Whatever you say," he said.

Roc Pov:

Ava didn't have to give up her bed for me.

"I'm sorry for the was I acted and Chrissy," I said.

"You don't have to apologize. She just wanted to start something with me," she said.

"She really is a nice person," I said.

"Boy don't tell that lie," she said laughing.

I started to laugh too.

"Deep down she is nice," I said.

"Yeah real deep down. Bur enough about her. I'm about to go take a shower, I will be back," she said.

"Ok," I said.

"30 minutes later"

Ava cam out wearing a muscle t shirt and some pajama shorts. Mane she was looking good.

"What are you staring at," she said.

"Nothing. Where yo towels at, so I can take a shower," I said.

"I set them out on the bed," she said.

"Ok," I said.

I took Anthony back in his room, and laid him down. I went in to Ava's room and got the towels.

I looked around her room. She had a really nice set up. I got my stuff and went into the bathroom and took a shower.

"45 minutes later"

I went into the living and already seen Ava knock out. I guess she had a long day. I walked up to her and pulled a blanket over her and kissed her on the forehead.

Ava Pov:

I heard Anthony crying. I looked at the clock and saw that it was 11:50.

When I got up my back was hurting so bad. I should have listened to Roc. I got up and made my way to my room.I already seen Roc ready had him.
Roc Pov:

"Ava what are you doing. I thought you said that you was laying on the couch," I said.

Ava was in the bed on the other side.

"That couch is so uncomfortable," she said.

"I told you," I said.

"Shut up. You don't mind, do you," she said.

"Naw." I don't," I said.

Early in the morning Anthony stared crying. I don't know why he just ate. I pick him up out his crib and laid him in the middle between Ava and I. He stayed asleep the rest of the morning.
All he wanted was to be with me and Ava.
