Chapter 2
Black-Night's POV
I sat at the dinner table. I kept glaring at Leo, and he kept glaring at me.
" Guys, can you please calm down? It seems like I am in a middle of a battle...." Ben said. I know that he is trying to cheer us up but it doesn't help. I am not eating but Ben still says ' Even though you only feed on emotions I still want you to sit at the at the table when ever we eat. ' And so I did, this isn't my house it's his house. But I can't take it anymore! I got up and marched out of the room. I heard Ben shouted. " Black-Night where are you going?"
Then I heard Leo's voice. " Don't bother dad. She is just plain rude..."
I arrived at the park. And again I was on top of a strong branch that could hold me. I prefer a branch rather than a bench, because people can't see me, they might sit on me. How can Leo see me!? Is it because that he is the son of Ben? I don't know anymore!
A bright arrow came flying in my way. I look right next to me to find one of the light's arrows. I got my bow and a arrow, ready to strike. My eyes darted here and there trying to find the Light shadow that was targeting me. Then I found her, she was in the bush, I shot the arrow right in her direction. I heard a scream. Then her presence was gone and she was dead. I sigh why are there so many light shadow? And only one dark shadow, that is me. I close my eyes and hope that I could find peace in my nap. But no Leo had to scream my name.
I shot a glare at him. " You know that I don't like you so you can just go away!"
He cross his arms. " My dad ask me to come and get you. Anyway come down!"
" You do know that people are looking at you like you are a weirdo?"
Leo look around him. And he found that people are staring at him like a mad man. A woman rush her child away from him. I giggle.
He shot me a look like, ' Just come down! I don't want people to think I am a weirdo....'
I snapped my fingers and I was at Ben's house. " Hey Ben! I am back, sorry for going away!"
Just then the door open and Leo was standing there, panting. I smile. " You should be in the Olympics. That is the fasted I have ever seen a human run."
He shot me a glare and sat down on the couch. " Yeah well...you never told me that you...... Can teleport here and there."
" Didn't you see me do that already?"
" I don't know I thought that my mind was playing a trick on me..." He said. I look at him and I saw that he was trying to sleep. Now is my chance! I went near to him and stare at him. I felt my cheeks go hot. I didn't know why but I think that I was blushing. It's not like I like him! " What are you doing?" He open one of his eyes and look at me. I back away from him.
" Nothing..." I muttered. My stomach growl.
" Your hungry? Why didn't you just eat dinner with us, when you were at the table?"
" I feed on human emotions, and my body won't allow food in my system." I said under my breath.
" You can feed on my emotions I guess?" He said. Leo got up from the couch. I blink a few times. When was he nice to me?
I got up and went into his shadow. His emotions were happy, annoyed, and a bit of sadness? Leo bumped his knee on the Coffee table. I wince in pain. " Hey watch it there! What ever happen to you happen to me!"
" Really?" He said.
" Yeah..." I got out of his shadow. The door open and I look to see who it was. Ben was standing in the door way and...
I shot dark dagger, at the direction of the person standing next to Ben.
