Chapter 3
Black-Night's POV
Standing in the doorway, behind Ben, was a Light-Shadow. Another arrow was in the bow ready to fire at anytime.
" What is a Light-Shadow doing here Ben!?" I said. I gritted my teeth and shot a deadly glare at her.
She came out into my view. She was in the range that I could kill her in an instate. But I didn't, why did she came into my range that I could kill her?
" Do you wish to be killed?" I growled. But the girl just looked at me. I raise an eyebrow.
" Listen I know that you want me to be dead, but I am not one of those light shadows." She explain. She does have a point. She would have shot her weapon by the time she saw me. But I wasn't going let me guard down. Maybe she was trying to be nice to me until I gain her trust and then she would kill me. Then she would run back to the light shadow king and show my dead body to him. " I know what your thinking. I won't do that I promise. I am on your side."
Leo looked at me then at the light shadow. He stepped in front of me. " What's your name?" I let my weapon disappear, and then look at Leo's back. He gave his shadow to me to fill my stomach up, I don't want a weapon to be at his back.
" My name is Stella." She said, getting closer to Leo. I look over Leo and shot her a glare. " It seems that you gave up your shadow to her."
" What if he did?" I snorted. She shrugged her shoulders.
" I don't care anyways. I just want to get along with you."
Wait did I just heard what she just said? I sat down on the couch and look at her. Blonde hair and yellow eyes, just like Leo. Too bright for my taste.
" Well looks like it's getting late. Be nice you two, especially you Black-Night." Ben said. He yawned and made his way to his room.
I look at Leo. " Aren't you going to bed?"
" No, I am staying up until one of you goes to sleep."
" Ben said your name is Black-Night right?" Stella said. I look at her then at her outstretch hand, that was waiting for me to shake it. I didn't shake that hand just in case it had an weapon that I couldn't see. She drop her hand and then sigh. " Well it's too late to talk now. I am going to sleep."
" Where are you going to sleep? We only have three rooms and Black-Night has the last one." Leo asked. He was worried about her.
" I have a place that I could rest thank you for asking." With that Stella left.
I yawned and lay my head on the back of the couch. " I hate her guts."
" She seems nice for your enemy. Why don't you be her friend?" Leo asked me sitting on the couch.
" Well let me see, I have been killing light shadow ever since I was small, and then one day a light shadow said that she wants to get along with me. I am not used to it. And besides I don't I think that I can trust her." I got up from the couch. And look at Leo. " Do you like her?"
Leo was caught off guard by what I said. He quickly got up from the couch. " Where did you get that from!?"
I shrugged my shoulders. " I don't know. It seems like you like her though."
" Whatever, I am going to bed."
Leo walk towards his room. Before closing the door he stop and look at me. " The answer is that I don't like her. I already like someone else before I met her."
With that he close the door. I sat down on the couch and look up at the ceiling. Before I knew it my eyes close and I fell into a deep sleep.
