Chapter 4
Black-Night's POV
I open my eyes and sat up straight. I was in my own room. I look of my window and saw that it was like 6:00'oclock in the morning. The last time I was awake was on the couch. When did I end up here!? Did I sleep walk!?
I yawned and went into the bathroom, and got myself ready. When I extied the bathroom Stella was sitting on my bed.
" What are you doing here?" I growl.
Stella smiled at me. " Good morning Black, how are you today?"
" I was fine until you came," I muttered under my breath.
Stella smiled. " Listen, I know you hate my guts and all but I just want you to listen." I walk towards my bed and checked every inch of it, then I moved on to the rest of my room. " I just want to get along with you like what I said yesterday, I don't think it's-What are you doing?" I stopped and whipped my head around, and stare at her.
" What?" I growled, and then resumed my search around the room.
Stella sighed. " I didn't do anything to your room, you have my word."
I threw a glare at her, and search into her eyes to see if she was lying. But she wasn't she was really telling the truth. I dropped my search and went to stand in front of Stella. I put my hands on my hips. " Alright I know you want to get along with me as friends and all, but there must be more than that right?"
" If you were listening to me earlier...I said that it seems unfair that you are the last type of a Dark Shadow. So I want to help protect you."
" You do know that if you get seen with a Dark Shadow you'll get kill by your King right?" I asked.
She nodded her head. " Yeah, but it just feels unfair, and I can't stand that."
I nodded my head slowly. " Thanks," I muttered.
" Black-Night, breakfast is ready!" Ben's voice shouted from the dining room.
" I'll be taking my leave right now," With that Stella teleported to wherever she was before she came here.
I open my door, and went down the stairs to the dining room. There I found Leo with disheveled hair, and his eyes were blood shot when he looked at me. I sat across from him, with a grin on my face.
" Your not a morning person are you?" I asked.
" Shut up," He mumbled
I giggled, " Don't worry I'm not a morning person also, it's just today that I had a feeling that I should wake up."
He threw a glare at me, which sent chills up my spine cause of his blood shot eyes. " Just shut up, and don't make it even worse."
" Alright, alright I'm not going to make fun of you anymore."
One plate was placed in front of Leo, today's breakfast was pancakes. Ben and Leo started eating and I watched them, my stomach was about to growl, but I controlled it and made it shut it's mouth. Leo finished first and went to wash his plate.
" So Black-Night you aren't hungry?" Ben asked.
I shook my head. For some reason I didn't want to eat, there's just a bad feeling that if I went out to hunt something bad will happen. When Leo was done with washing his plate, he went up to the bathroom to wash up.
Ben got up and went to the sink. " Hey Ben, doesn't Leo have school today?" I asked.
Ben shook his head. " Nope, yesterday was his last day of school, right now he's on summer holiday."
I got up and went upstairs. I was about to enter my room, and the bathroom door open 1 door down from mine. Leo stepped out, his hair soaked with water. He looks better than at breakfast.
" What's up?" He asked when he caught me looking at him.
" Nothing," I look away, and I open the door to my room, and closed it behind me. I look outside my window, and found a light shadow darting away from a branch that was facing into my room.
" Next time, I am keeping the curtains over my window." I thought, while making my way to the window and draping the curtains over the window.
I sigh and sat down on my bed, then I felt a pair of eyes watching me. I got up quickly and a shadow dagger was in my right hand in and instance. I snapped my fingers, and I was teleported to the branch that was facing my room. I darted my head to the left and to the right, but found no Light Shadow. I could still sense the pair of eyes on me, but I don't where that Light Shadow is! It was driving me crazy, until the Light Shadow decided to shoot a light arrow at me, and that's how I found out where he/she is.
I smiled when I knew where my prey is. I jumped down from the branch, and stalked towards a large bush where my prey hide. I shot a dagger into the bush, but I stilled sense the Light Shadow.
" What are you doing?" A guy's voice asked behind me. I whipped my head around, to find Leo watching me with one of his eyebrow raised. A sharp pain came from my shoulder, and something trickled down my arm. Leo eyes widened in shock.
My eye sight got blurry, and I black out.
