Chapter 6

KOUGYOKU

It was the morning after their meeting and they had spent the last day planning. Kougyoku was ready to go explore outside the forest, she had chosen 10 good men to bring with her. They had removed their armor so that they could move quickly and silently. Strangely they did not seem to be the only creatures in this new land, beyond the trees she could hear strange noises, growling and roars. What strange creatures might they discover? Kougyoku signaled to her men that they would leave now. they crept out of the camp silently and went through the small forested area at a brisk pace until they found a path covered in a strange hard rocky black substance. She signaled to her men to stop. She gingerly touched the black rock and found that it was hard and rough. She stepped onto the black rock and signaled her men forward. They followed the path until they reached the edge of the forest. Up ahead there were the huge stone towers that reflected light. they saw people wearing strange clothing going in and out of the stones and kougyoku thought those stone must be buildings in this strange world. There was a sign at the end of the path that had words on it the words were Central Park and underneath it said New York City. Kougyoku thought the forest must be called Central park and this world must be New York City, when we conquer this world we will have to call it New Ren City after our family name. Kougyoku Ren walked across the strange black rock to a lighter gray smooth rock. where there were people walking. Some stared at her and her soldiers strangely but none stopped. Suddenly there was a roaring sound and a large red creature with glowing orange eyes and large black paws that never seemed to leave the ground ran past. There seemed to have been a human within the creature but it was too fast to see. Kougyoku wondered what are these strange creatures who run faster than cheetahs? 

Kougyoku and her soldiers had been walking for hours along the gray stone for hours when she spotted something of interest. it was a lower building in red, yellow and gray with a large yellow M outside. She started to head for the building because there was a smell of cooked meat coming from it. She pulled the door on the building open and entered, her soldiers came in behind her. she walked up to a counter with people behind it and watched as people collected food from it. she asked the woman behind the counter for some of the food, the woman said "Of course, what would you like?" kougyoku responded "Everything". "Alright," replied the woman "will it be for here or to go". "Here" kougyoku said hungrily. She went to sit down with her men and they waited for food, they looked quite out of place in (as you've probably guessed by now) McDonalds. Kougyoku had pink hair done in an elaborate style, she wore a long  pink robe with jewels in her hair and on her dress, but strangest of all was the large sword hanging at her side with the hilt as long as the blade and intricately carved. Her men all had scary weapons and strange clothing. They all sat at tables and fidgeted while waiting for food. The woman and several others arrived with the food. there were several platters of greasy McDonalds food for everyone. Kougyoku ate the most. She ate 5 platters full of burgers, chicken nuggets, and her new favourite (which would later become the national Ren food) Hot Dogs! When she was done she stood up and left the building (without paying).while walking on the sidewalk she told her soldiers "we will return to the building of M where there is amazing food to enjoy and the hot dogs will become our new food".
