The moment that car hit me, I knew I was done for. And I was prepared for darkness to come.

But the odd thing is, everything went into color. Things were flashing all around me. Looking back on it now, I suppose they were memories. But I hadn't stopped to notice it then.

Though the moment the colors had ceased and everything came to a stand still I came face to face with a girl. She, at most, was 15 standing at 5'6''. Her honey hair was of medium length with gold streaks. Her eyes were a dark blue, flecked with lighter blue. And she had this brilliant smile plastered on her face.

It had taken me a while to realize it, but looking at her, I realized it was me.

Not the me now obviously, but when I was 15.

I couldn't believe it. That was me? I couldn't remember ever having that big of a grin on myself, unless I was acting. I don't remember that glint in my eyes.

But before it actually hit me That i was looking at my past self, I had collided into her. I hadn't noticed she was running and when she came smashing into me I WENT into her.

I became her.

"do you think she's okay?" Asked a meek girl's voice.

" I don't know, she looks pretty konked out to me." Replied another girl.

Then a deep male's voice boomed in saying " what happened?"

" I- I don't know she just collapsed on the stage, Jace." The first girl answered.

"Mabel, I'm going to ask you, since you seem to know." Jace stated.

"Well-" the second girl started " I'm not quite sure what happened. One moment she's giggling over something and the next she has this stunned look and...drops. Quite honestly, what did you expect. It's Lace, she's a basket case I tell you."

To this, the boy sighed and added " Have you tried waking her up?"

To which Mabel replied with " Hello? Have you not seen that handprint on her face?"

" I told her she shouldnt have done that." The meek girl whispered.

Releasing a heavy sigh Jace told them to shoo and that he'd handle this.

At this point I was semi-conscious. Not conscious enough though. I still couldn't move my body, nor open my eyes.

" Lace, Lace wake up," I felt someone slowly shaking me. "Lace, this isn't funny. Come on, you got to get up." He shook me a little more, pulling on my hands and tickling me, trying to get any reaction out of me.

Letting out a groan I finally did as he said. Slowly I opened my eyes, amazed at how light they felt. Usually they were caked in mascara and fake lashes. Blinking, I finally accomplished that simple task and was met with a young man. He had blue eyes and short brown cropped hair.

"Finally!" He mumbled-yelled.

"Huh?" I said.

" Lace, come on get up." Jace commanded.

"No."

"What?"

"I said, no."

" Lace, this isn't the time. Get up."

" I told you no."

"Okayyyy, why?"

" Becuse I don't know who you are, that's why."

"Wait, what?"
