Autobot Base: Ratchet's POV

"Optimus, you're not going to believe this. I've just pinpointed the location of the Decepticon warship." I told him.

"How did you penetrate their cloaking technology?" he asked.

"I didn't. I was experimenting the variable frequency wavelengths when I stumbled upon it. Even still, their ship must be experiencing some kind of electromagnetic breach." I explained.

"With Megatron and Ayla deceased and the element of surprise, we could cause some serious damage." Arcee said.

[Beeping from monitor] "Also on the same frequency, an autobot emergency beacon." I said.

"The Decepticons can wait." Optimus said. "There may be autobots in distress. Ratchet, bring your medical kit." Optimus told me.

At the coordinates of the autobot beacon: Optimus' POV

"A crash landing. Buried here for centuries." I pondered.

"If they traveled in stasis mode, there may be survivors." Ratchet said.

We cut into the ship's hull with a cutting laser, and enter the main room. 

"Optimus, these autobots didn't perish in the crash. They're displaying the effects of a virus." Ratchet told me.

"This is a plague ship." I said, going forward to inspect one of the autobot bodies.

"Don't touch anything! The virus could still be active." Ratchet said. The ship then faltered to the side, and I got hit with the infected energon in my optic. 

"No." Ratchet said gravely.

Time Skip:

Back at Base: Ratchet's POV

[Beeping on screen] "Cybonic plague." I said gravely. "It's only contagious if contact is made with the infected Energon." I added just as grave.

"What was a plague doing in an autobot spaceship?" Miko asked.

"Its passengers were infected." I said sadly.

"The virus wiped out millions on Cybertron during the great war." Arcee added.

"Cybonic plague was engineered in the Decepticons' biological-warfare program by Megatron and Ayla themselves." I told them.

"You have a cure, don't you?" asked Raf.

Optimus groans, straining himself to speak. "No cure." he said.

"Optimus, please, save your strength." I said.

"Would Megatron and Ayla create a disease without having a cure? I mean, what if they caught it by accident?" asked Jack.

"It's not like we can ask them, Jack. They're pushing up lug nuts." Bulkhead told him.

"But we might be able to access the Decepticon database. For the moment, we still have a fix on their warship's location." I said.

"Bumblebee, come with." Arcee said.

"Arcee, quickly." I said.

On the Nemesis: Third Person POV

Knockout walks past the autobots hiding place, and stops. He then dissed that there was anything there. 

" Let's start with the lab." Arcee said. "I'm in the network." she said.

"Ratchet, were you-" Optimus starts weakly.

"Infected? No." he told the Prime.

"If it's here, I don't see it." said the femme. 

"Are you certain, Arcee?" he asked.
