Hello everyone, it's me! I'm back, and with a new chapter! I decided to name the main character Kim HyeJong. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this!
When Minhyun saw me, she smirked my way. She said something to the manager that I couldn't quite catch then came my way.
"Well, well, well, look who it is. Little Miss 'I'm The Best At Everything'," she glared at me. "But guess what? I already have the job. You're just a little too late."
I sighed and glared at her right back. "I might be too late to apply properly but that's not going to stop me." I walked up to the piano in the corner of the café and started playing Angel by B.A.P and sang along. Minhyun scoffed and rolled her eyes. Everyone eating or waiting in line looked at me. The manager looked at me with a huge grin.
When I finished everyone clapped as I got up and bowed. The manager walked up to me and shook my hand and introduced himself. "Hello there, I'm the manager here and my name is Luhan. I really enjoyed that performance there. What's your name?"
"I'm HyeJong, I just moved here from Busan," I said with a warm smile, which he seemed flustered with. That's right, I thought, fall for the sweetness.
"Well I don't know what to do. I just hired Minhyun for that position. Perhaps maybe you two can work as a duet?" Minhyun ran to us quickly and shook her head like it was on fire.
"No way! I can't work with her!" Luhan looked at her with a look that showed his confusion.
"Why not? She looks sweet enough.. If you really want this job, you're going have to."
"I'll do it! I don't mind working with someone else," I said enthusiastically. Luhan grinned. Minhyun sighed in defeat.
"Good! You both start working Monday! See you then~" He walked behind the counter and disappeared.
I sighed and walked to the doors, walking the path to my house. Now that I'm walking, the distance seems longer. Why do i have to work with her? She doesn't like me and it wouldn't be fun. Why did I agree to it? I looked up to the sky and looked at the clouds. One looked like a butterfly and another looked like a golf ball. The one right above me looked like a.... Hm...
"Hello there."
I screamed and turned around to the creep who whispered in my ear and punched his face.
"Ow! Why did you do that HyeJong?!" Jimin asked holding the side of his face, looking hurt. I sighed and pouted.
"I'm sorry... I was distracted and you scared me! What do you expect me to do?"
"Aigoo," he pinched my cheek, "I'm sorry I sneaked up on you. Don't worry about my cheek, I'll just need some ice." I feel so bad about his cheek. I bit my lip. It looked really bad! I took his arm and dragged him with me. "Woah, where are we going?"
"My house."~~~
"Wow, you clean up pretty well," Jimin said as he looked around. He picked up pictures of my family that I had around my house and smiled. "You look a lot like your brother. Are you guys close?"
I walked out of the kitchen with an ice pack and sat on the couch. I motioned him to sit next to me followed. I held the ice pack to his cheek. "My brother and I are very close. He and I used to talk for hours about the most random things and still have things left to talk about. People think we're twins when they first meet us because we are so much alike. We both look more like my mom than my dad but we act a lot like my dad. My mom and dad own a bakery in Busan and they make the best treats! Every time I was sick, depressed, or stressed my mom would make me the best cotton candy cake in the world." I didn't notice the big smile on my my face or the loving look on his. "I really miss them... I'm sorry, I'm blabbing too much about my life, am I?" I blushed and little, embarrassed.
"No, no, it's fine! Your family sounds amazing. You really look like you love them." I smiled and he smiled back. We sat there awkwardly for while as I held the ice pack to his cheek. What am I suppose to do in this kind of situation?!
"L-Let me turn on the t-" He cut me off with a kiss. I widened my eyes. What the heck?
