The next morning I got up and got ready for school. When I was putting on my uniform, my older brother, Jin, called.
"Good morning," he chirped through the phone.
"Yeah, it's not that good of a morning. Why are you calling so early? Your classes don't start for another 2 hours, " I replied. That was a con about going to Dream High. Now I wake up 2 hours earlier than usual for school.
"Mother wants to know what flavor macaroons you want before she sends the package out in like a half an hour." Oh, mother. Shouldn't you know your daughter's favorite by now?
"Green tea, duh."
"I told you, mom," Jin yelled on the other line. Ok, I know what your thinking, why macaroons? Can't I just buy some in Seoul? Well, no macaroons are better than my mom's. My mother and father run a bakery in Busan. "How's Seoul?" Jin asked.
"Uh.. It's okay I guess.."
"Did you get any dates yet?"
"Yah!"
"I'm kidding," Jin laughed.
"Aish..."
"But did you really?"
"Maybe.."
"Yah, you know what we told you be safe and alw-"
"I know, I know so shut up! I have to go to school now so I'm hanging up!"
"Bye, Paper."
"Bye, Pencil!" I hung up. See, my brother and I do this thing where he calls me something and I call him the thing that matches with it. Confusing, right?
Anyway, Xiumin called right after I hung up with Jin. Last night when I was all alone in the park we were texting and he told me he could give me a ride to and from school for now on. "Yah, I'm outside your house."
"Ok~" I ran out and ran to the car in front of me. It was a BMW. I saw a girl in the front seat so you went to the back. I knew who it was right away. It was the girl Xiumin asked out, Junghee. I climbed in and said, "Hi Xiumin! Hello Junghee~" I bowed my head and smiled at her. She smiled back.
"Nice to meet you, ____! You can call me Joy, by the way. Everyone calls me that," Junghee chirped.
"Ok~"
Xiumin smiled in the front seat and drove to school. It was a little awkward for me since they were all lovey dovey in the front. It's only been one day, yet, they are already like that? After what seemed like hours, Xiumin pulled up to the school. "Thanks, Xiu!" I climbed out and went inside. I went made a bee line for my locker. There was a big crowd around it. Oh what now? I pushed through the crowd and saw snob in front of my locker. Oh great. Just awesome. "Uhm, this is my locker so can I go in it, please?" I asked nicely.
"No," she spat. "I actually came to tell you something."
I sighed and smiled a nice but fake smile. "And that is?"
"Stay away from Jungkook. Don't look at him, don't talk to him, don't even sit near him in class. Just stay away."
My niceness was slowly fading away. "Ok, first, I don't even like him. Second, I will stay away from him because he's a good for nothing, rich jerk."
"Good. Anyway, he wouldn't want a poor, country girl." She cackled and started to walk away. Ok, I'm done playing nice, new girl.
"Yeah, I don't think he would want a snobby, rich slut, either." She stopped dead in her tracks. I smirked slightly while opening my locker. She walked back and closed it. She was about to slap me before I caught her arm and twisted it. She yelped out in pain. I let go and she turned back at me, her eyes full of anger. She was reaching for my hair while I ducked and kicked her. Did I ever mention I learned Judo? She fell to the ground.
"Minhyun!" a random girl in the crowd exclaimed. So snob's name is Minhyun, huh? I quickly opened my locker. Then, I started getting my stuff I need and put the stuff I don't need in my locker. I closed it and started to walk away. Little did I know Minhyun took off her shoe and when I walked away, she threw it to my head. Then I heard gasp. I was confused so I turned around. Right there in front of me, a guy stood with the shoe in his hand. The guy was....~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
