Chapter 2
"OH MY GOD IT'S HARRY STYLES!"
Harry grabbed my hand and started sprinting, pulling me along with him. "Okay!" I yelled, surprised by this sudden action. He was starting to make my wrist sore, so I tugged my hand out of his grip, lacing our fingers together as our feet pounded against the pavement. Palm to palm and I couldn't help but blush deeply. Why was I acting this way? I shook my head. Focus Liz, you're currently being mobbed by about 20 teenage girls, your dumb hormones are the least of your worries.
"HARRY I LOVE YOU."
"WHERE ARE THE OTHER BOYS?"
"I WANNA RUN MY FINGERS THROUGH THOSE CURLS!"
"CAN YOU GET NIALL TO GO ON A DATE WITH ME?"
"HARRY HAVE MY CHILDREN."
I started laughing loudly. These girls really did love these boys. I looked back and saw one of them trip. I winced, watching a couple go tumbling down on top of her, like a domino effect. "Hope you're okay!" I yelled. But instead of taking what I said the girls just glared at me like they were already plotting my death. I frowned, turning to look at Harry, "Your fans are mean." I mumbled. He laughed, turning a corner.
"HARRY STYLES - MARRY ME!"
We continued running and I noticed we were close to the mall. "Harry!" I snapped, pointing my chin in the direction of the large building. He nodded and started running faster. Woah there, I didn't say we had to run faster, I was already running out of oxygen as it was. I really should exercise more.
We ran into the mall and quickly turned a corner. Eventually after going in and out of stores, we had finally lost the fans. We stopped in a furniture store and I collapsed onto a nice leather couch, panting hard. "Bloody hell those girls have stamina." I gasped, trying to catch my breath.
Harry laughed. He had barely worked up a sweat. My mouth fell open, "How are you not about to die?" I exclaimed, my hand over my heart as it's rate slowed down gradually. He just shrugged, sitting down next to me, "I've gone through this for 3 years now."
I sighed, a very guilty look on my face, "Well, I'd like to apologize. If it weren't for my big mouth, that probably wouldn't have happened." I frowned. Harry laughed, "No, it's perfectly fine. At least I got a nice run today." I groaned, "Well personally, I don't want to do anymore running." Harry chuckled.
I stood up after a few moments, "Well, I guess I should go. I need to get home and study." I wiped some sweat off my forehead and grimaced, "And a shower would be nice."
"Oh... well, I mean if you have to go."
I looked over at Harry and saw he was frowning, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. I almost giggled. He looked kind of adorable. Wait? What? No, shut up Liz. I coughed, "Well, I mean... would you like to come over? I won't be much fun because I'll be studying, but I mean you could just hang around." I said quickly, trying to distract myself from my previous thoughts.
Harry's face suddenly lit up, he grinned, "That sound's perfect." I smiled, "Let's go then. But keep your head down Mr. Popular, you might get us mobbed again." I joked, turning around and beginning to walk out.
We had a lazy conversation on the way to my flat. We mostly just talked about each other about the weather, how are week was and all that crap. I was telling him about my job at a local restaurant.
"So far this week I've managed to spill drinks on 5 people." I admitted, wincing slightly. Harry laughed, "How do you still have a job?" I laughed with him, shrugging, "I'm good with people. I have regular customers that know how clumzy I am, and they have just accepted it because I'm nice."
