Prologue
"LOUIS I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU!" I yelled, running in the pouring rain towards my car.
"Hannah!" Louis shouted, chasing me.
I turned around to face him, "I will NEVER forgive you for what you did!" Tears started to form in my eyes, so I quickly turned around, not wanting him to see me cry.
"I-I'm sorry," Louis whispered as he wraps his arms around me.
"I thought you actually liked me," I trembled.
Louis remained silent. I knew it. I just knew it. Louis was just like every other boy out there. Louis wasn't any different than any other teenage boy. I was expecting him to act different. But no, he used me. He used me to prove a point.
I decided to turn around, and I saw Louis sitting on the curb with his face in his hands.
"I feel so terrible," Louis whispered, looking up at me.
'You should," I thought to myself, but I remained silent.
"I can explain-" Louis started.
"No, Louis, you can't explain anything," I cut him off. "You used me, and there is nothing, absolutely nothing, you can do to change the fact. I actually thought you cared about me, but it turns out I'm wrong. You're just like every other guy."
"I do care about you," Louis paused. "I-I love you, Hannah."
My heart literally dropped. This was the first time Louis has used the 'L-word' about me. I couldn't fall for him again, even if it means losing everything I had. I have to be strong and walk away.
I looked up into his eyes.
OH GOODNESS. HIS EYES ARE SO HYPNOTIZING.
No, Hannah. I can't fall for him. He's a complete jerk. I mean, think about what he did to me. How he completely faked the whole relationship.
I decided to speak. "Goodbye Louis," I whispered. Those two words took everything I have inside of me. Those two words were the hardest two words that I have ever said before in my entire life.
I turned around, tears streaming down my face even faster, and walked towards my car.
"Hannah-" Louis whimpered.
I hopped in the car and closed the door. All I could hear is my heart pounding and the raindrops splattering across my window. I plugged my keys into the ignotion and backed out of the driveway. I looked in the rear view mirros and wow, I was a mess. My eyes were red and puffy for crying, my hair was a wet rat's nest, and my mascara was covering my face.
I looked out the window and see Louis looking at me with a distraught covering his entire face. Seeing him makes me cry even harder.
I turned my head and drive away. I was not ready to face my best friend, Kennedy, who is currently sharing an apartment with me for the summer. She was probably with Zayn watching a movie in the living room.
I didn't want to explain anything to her. I was obviously upset, I mean... look at me. She'll know something is up, but I don't want to talk about it.

I finally arrived at my apartment. The rain had lightened up just a little bit, but not much. I walked up to apartment B7 and unlocked the door. I was wrong. Not only Kennedy and Zayn were watching a movie, but Harry and Niall was there too. Niall was sitting on the couch eating popcorn while Harry quickly stood up once he saw me arrive. Harry and Louis were my two best friends from the band. Now that Louis is out of picture, Harry was the only boy from the band that I am close to. Liam and Niall are sweet and nice, but I haven't bonded with them as much as I had bonded with Louis and Harry. Zayn was really awesome, but he had Kennedy.
I know, I should be embarrassed that I walked in on everyone with my terrible looks, but frankly, I didn't care. I am hurting too much to care.
"Are you alright, love?" Harry asked grabbing each of my hands in his.
"I-I am fine," I lied. I am actually the complete opposite of fine.
"No, you're not," Kennedy said rushing towards me. She quickly gave me a hug. "What happened?" She whispered in my ear.
"N-Nothing," I trembled.
"You're lying," Kennedy whispered.
"No, really," I said, rushing towards my bedroom.
"You wanna come join us?" Someone asked me before I made it all the way to my bedroom door. I turned around and saw Harry. Harry was only a few feet away from me.
I ran to him, and he opened his arms wide. I sobbed in his arms. He sure knew how to comfort me.
"Wanna talk about it?" Harry asked.
"N-No," I stuttered, pulling away from his grasp. He grabbed my hand and entwined our fingers.
"Come here," Harry opened the bedroom door and lead me to my bed to sit down. "What's wrong, love?"
"It's not important," I trembled, leaning into his side. His arm wrapped around my cold body, and I started to shiver.
Harry quickly took off his jacket and wrapped it around my arms.
"Hannah," Harry looked at me and rubbed underneath my eyes, trying to get the smeared mascara off. "Tell me," he whispered.
"Well," I started, "It all started with The Dare..."
