Author's Note: Once again, I decided to update early. I know it's not when I said I would update, but at least it's sooner rather than later, right? ;) Anyway, I know this chapter has a lot of drama in it, but every story needs a little bit of drama. :O WIth that in mind, I hope that you enjoy the new edition I've written to the story. I can't wait to hear what you have to say (as always). --Ekat =D

Niall’s P.O.V.

Okay, I have no idea why I was worried so much. Hannah and Liam’s aunt is amazing. She makes me feel like family. And I know that as a therapist, she has the ability to do it effortlessly, but that’s not what I get from her. Being extremely depressed, you can tell when someone’s feelings are genuine, and when they’re being staged. The amount of care and admiration that Hannah’s aunt has for Hannah is incredible. Did I mention that she’s an amazing cook? Well, she is. Apparently, Hannah told her in advance that I like to eat, and she made a buffet just for us. Even Hannah was a made. She said that she knew how important I was to Hannah, and wanted to welcome me with open arms…and full plates of food. Can I be a part of this woman’s family now? I didn’t realize I said that out loud until everyone was looking at me. Liam of course was rolling his eyes at me. Well that’s not embarrassing. It didn’t help that I had Hannah and her aunt chuckling at me. Oh, I think it’s getting hot in here.

Everything was going great, except for the accident earlier with me wanting to be a part of Aunt Tracy’s family, which she insisted I call her, until there was a knock at the door. We all looked at each other with confusion until Aunt Tracy got up from her seat at the table to answer the door. Being the nosy teenagers that we are, we decided to listen in on the conversation. I’m sorry that we couldn’t help ourselves, but curiosity got the better of us. My jaw almost hit the floor when I saw who was at the door…it was Hannah and Liam’s mum

“What are you doing here?” Aunt Tracy asked confusedly, but I could almost sense a tad bit of anger in her words too.

“I came here to see me kids,” she responded with no emotion.

“Hi mum,” Liam said, walking over, and wrapping his arms around the woman. Oh great, as if I wasn’t nervous enough trying to impress Hannah and Liam’s aunt, now I have to impress their mum as her boyfriend. That might be a little difficult seeing as how Hannah and her mother aren’t exactly on speaking terms.

When Liam said the word ‘mum’, Hannah flinched a little in my arms. I felt so bad for her. Her mum thinks that she’s out of her mind, and needs professional help. How loving of a mother. Liam pulled away from his mum, and grabbed her hand in his as they made their way into the dining room where Hannah and I sat.

“Hello Niall,” Hannah’s mum said, shock evident in her tone.

“Hello,” I replied, being cordial. I’m sorry, but even though she was a total bitch to the girl I love, I needed to stay polite. It’s not in my best interest to go off on this woman. Plus, I think that Liam would turn on me.

“Hello Hannah,” her mum said to her, also being cordial.

“What are you doing here?” Hannah asked, not even wasting time with pleasantries. This is one of the many reasons why I love this girl. Okay, I’m starting to sound like a complete girl.  The confidence that she has blossoms like a beautiful flower. Listening to her sass people is like poetry in motion. Oh my God…every second that passes turns me into a bigger wuss.
