He laughs. My heart skips a beat. My palms get completely sweaty. "My heart just melted." I said out loud.
"What?" My best bud Elle asked me, puzzeled.
"Oh," I said, realizing that I said it aloud. "Nothing."
"You like Ed, You like Ed!" My vegetarian buddy Cathy B. taunted.
"SHUT UP!!!!" I yelled.
"You know it's true." Elle agreed.
"I know," I admitted. "He's just- perfect."
"Awwww!" My other bud Ally cooed, eating her pizza.
I've had a crush on Ed for two years. Even though the girls had pushed me towards him (litterally), I just kept it inside. But sometimes I think; "How long CAN I hold it in?"
The teachers realese us. Lunch is over. And Ed slowly walks out the doors with his friends, now out of my grasp.
"Come back." I whispered in my mind.
