When Acrobat is not doing acrobatic acts, and as a way to not eat human flesh, Acrobat has a side attraction that shows humans their deepest fear, this is done by Acrobat being a species that can cause intense fear in humans...and since fear is a negative emotion, Acrobat gets a good source of food from the side attraction as that's what his species feeds on.
He does not enjoy doing this most of the time, but sometimes he gets into the mental state where he would not care what he's doing.
