It was 4:00pm on Friday. Tonight was my date with Joe. Joe and Dan left this morning after breakfast not by choice but by force, Willow told them to leave because I had a date tonight.
"Willow what do I wear?" I ask.
"How about a cute floral skirt, the loose long sleeve grey top and converse." She suggested.
"Isn't that a bit too casual?" I say.
"Joe told me this morning to tell you to wear something casual." She said answering my question.
"In that case I will wear what you just said." I say as I get up and go to my room to get changed. The date was at 5:00 so I had an hour to get ready. Once I got dressed I went into the bathroom to put make up on. I put on foundation, eye shadow, mascara, blusher and a red lip. I also put my hair in a plait.
I walk into the lounge room to find Willow sitting on the couch watching tv. She turns around to look at me. Her eyes widen.
"You look absolutely beautiful." She says running up and hugging me.
"Thank you." I say. We heard a knock on the door.
"I will get it." Willow say rushing over to the door.
She walks back into the living room with Joe behind her.
"You look gorgeous." He says walking over to me and taking my hand.
"Well thank you Joe you look quiet handsome yourself." I say as we walk out the door.
We walk to his car and get in.
"Where are we going may I ask." I asked Joe.
"It is a surprise!" He said smiling.
*when we arrived*
It was the park. The park where he asked to go on a proper date. The sun was setting and it was amazing. I saw Joe take out a blanket and a basket. He was walking towards a hill, I follow.
We laid out the blanket and put the basket on top. He sat down, I sat down next to him.
"This is the best date I have ever been on." I say to Joe. Joe blushes.
"Thank you." He said taking out all of the food from the basket. There was strawberries dipped in chocolate, sandwiches, chips and a few slices of apple.
We started to eat. The food was amazing even though it wasn't much it was still amazing.
"Violet?" Joe said.
"Yes Joe." I say.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" He asks.
"Yes!" I say hugging him as we watch the sunset.
"I love you." Joe mummers.
"I love you too." I mummer back.
We were still hugging when he puts his finger under my chin and lifts my head up. Then he leaned in a kissed me, it was the most amazing kiss ever and the softest too.
I pull away from Joe. "Thank you for tonight." I say hugging him again.
"You're welcome." He replies resting his head on top of mine.
