Chapter 22. A Bit Of Fun.

I woke up the morning remembering that I just abandoned my mum's funeral. I felt awful. I look to my left to see Joe looking at me smiling.

"Good morning." I say hugging him.

"Morning." He replied. I then got up and went to my suitcase to go get some clothes and then went into the bathroom to have a shower and get ready.

I walk out of the bathroom with a floral skirt that goes down to my knees, a plain black shirt and a black knitted jumper tucked into my skirt, a plait in my hair and a very natural make up look. I sit down on the end of the bed and put my socks and oak colored boots on. I turn around to see Joe looking at me in complete shock.

"What?" I ask slightly worried.

"It's just that you look beautiful." He said smiling then went into the bathroom to go get ready.

I then hear a knock on the door. I walk over to the door and open it. Willow was stand there.

"Hi!" I say giving her a hug and letting her in.

"Hi, Where is Joe?" She asks.

"In the bathroom." I answer simply. She just nods. I then get a text from my dad.

Hi, do you want to come to the jumping pillow that is a few houses down from my place? Lily is going to be there. You can bring everyone if you want to and also Willow's parents are going to be there.

- Dad xx.

I read it ask Willow if her and Dan were busy today, she said no so I replied.

We would all love to come!

- Your Little Princess xx.

A massive smile grew on my face. Then Joe walked out of the bathroom. (With clothes on.)

"Willow!" Joe said while giving her a hug.

"Joe today we are going to a jumping pillow with my uncle, my cousin and Willow's parents. But you can't say no because I already said we are going to go." I say.

"Well I wasn't going to say no." Joe said sitting next to me on the bed.

"Guys I'm going to go back to my room and go get ready and tell Dan." Willow said while exiting the room.

"BYE!" Joe and I both shout in sync.

*1 hour later*

I knock on Willow and Dan's room door. Dan opened the door and gave me a hug and let Joe and I in. We talked for a bit then Joe called a taxi and we all went to the jumping pillow.

When we arrived I jump out of the taxi and run up to Lily and give her a massive hug.

"Hi Lily!" I say squeezing her.

"Hi, it would be nice if I could breathe." She said as I let go of her and ran up to Uncle Mark.

"Hello." I say giving him a hug but not as tight as Lily's hug. "Uncle, Lily this is my boyfriend, Joe. You have met Willow before and that is Willow's boyfriend Dan."

Uncle walked up to Joe and gave him a firm hand shake and said it was nice to meet him. He did the same to Dan. Lily just simply said hi to them both.

Then I saw Willow's parents.

"Hi Mel and John, how are you?" I ask giving the both a hug.

"We are good how about you?" They ask.

"I'm going well." I say smiling. Then suddenly I fell a hand in mine. I look up to see Joe. "And this is my boyfriend Joe."

"Nice to meet you Joe." John said shaking his hand.

"Nice to meet you too." Joe said politely.

Then Willow and Dan walked over to her parents so Joe and I walked away.
The suddenly my feet lifted off the ground and before I knew it Joe was carrying me onto the jumping pillow. Then Joe finally put me down.

"Come on jump! After all it is called a 'Jumping' pillow." Joe said starting to jump. Then I started to jump with him.
