“hey Zo?” I tugged her blanket out of her face and pushed her back and forth trying to wake her up. But she just lay there motionless; equivalent to a dead body.

“argghh ZOE!”

“what?! What is it?” she grabbed her phone and tried to concentrate on the big bold numbers as she squinted adjusting to the bright light.

“it’s three in the morning. These early morning talks of yours better not become a habit. Else I’m shifting. This better be good you know.”

I knew I had something convincing enough.

“Liam texted me”

“WHAT? NOW? OH MY GOD EMMA!! YOU SERIOUS?” she jumped into sitting position grinning widely.

“No. not now at round 11.”

“Eleven? Eleven fucking o’clock and you decide to tell me that after four bloody hours?” she was practically screaming now. I tried to calm her down.

“You’ll wake the others up. Anyway listen it was nothing he just said hi I was like hi and I said I was gonna go to bed and he was like okay good night. That’s it.”

“Show me the messages” she ran to my bed. Yes ran to my bed and looked through my phone.

“awww Em…he called you ‘babe’ that is so adorable!”

“I know right! I can’t stop thinking about him. Zoe, I think I’m in love” She knew all the right moves to bring back to reality so she snapped me out of my dreamy thoughts.

“He’s being a gentleman don’t get carried away. Keep your feet to the ground. He’s LIAM PAYNE and you know who you are? A university student. That’s right and your classes begin tomorrow. Get some sleep you’ll need it for the rest of tomorrow. “

“you’re probably right.” I let out a sigh. I was slightly disappointed I was hoping to have a conversation about Liam with her.

*6:30 AM*

I was bathed and dressed by seven. I made breakfast and waited for others to get up. Among all of us I was the early riser. On a normal day I got up at around 5 or something I was weird creature, no denying that.

Jade walked down the stairs in the PJs and rubbed her eyes and looked at me.

“going somewhere?”

“Yeah my clases begin today. Gonna leave now thought I’d let one of you know.” Jade smiled and assured me that I could leave and that she would inform the rest.

“Have fun. Take care. It’s going to be great and you know it. Bye” Well that was comforting.

“Bye.”

“Emma? OH MY GOD! EMMA? HI!” I turned around to direction from which that familiar voice came from. And there she was Emily Davis. She was in my high school I thought she was gonna marry her high school sweetheart Liam McCullin. But instead here she was in the same university as i. She was that really pretentious kinda person so I never really was quite that close to her.

“Hi Emily, what are you doing here?” I asked. A question whose answer couldn’t have been more obvious.

“I got in.” she explained. Well duh.

“right of course. Guess we’ll be seeing each other more often than I thought. And how’s Liam? You guys married?” I asked in an attempt to make conversation with her. I had 10 minutes left till my last class would begin.

“Engaged actually. Anyway can I please borrow your phone? I gotta ask Liam to come pick me up and my phone’s dead” she requested. So I gave her my phone.

*Emily’s point of view*

I took Emma’s phone and started typing…….

“Thanks emma, I didn’t know you had Liam’s number.” The bell rang so she grabbed the phone out of my hand.

“huh? I don’t have his number. I gotta run. Peace” and she rushed away to her class. I was glad I had an old friend here. Things wouldn’t be as hard as I imagined it would  be. Oh today is date night wonder where Liam will take me today………..
