(Sunpaw's POV)

Intense pain had spread out through my body, and my orange fur was dyed scarlet. I wanted to yowl out for help or sprint away, but I was powerless against my captors. The brown tom had my scruff painfully in his mouth and the black one had my legs draped over his back. The gray she-cat was confidently padding ahead of us.

Diverting my pupils behind me, I saw a large trail of blood marking where we had been. I lit up momentarily with an idea. If any other Clan members had saw FalconClaw's body and followed the blood, they could rescue me.

Even though the murderous cats had said nothing, I knew better than to do or say anything while in this state. The huge wounds on my belly and face restrained me from doing anything anyways. "Alright, stop here." My belly churned and my heart almost stopped beating.

The two toms carrying me slammed me down onto cold ground, making me wince. Suddenly, I scented more cats. Lots of them. And blood. Snake turned to me with a smirk and a gleam in her red eyes. "Glitch, Fury, take the runt to the arena."

The arena!? My eyes widened in fear. The two toms roughly dragged me through long willow leaves that draped over the wall of a building. Only adding to my fear, I saw and scented dozens of bloddied ad scarred cats, all giving me malicous glances.

Soon, I was brought to a large, bloodied, sandy clearing. On one side, there was a small cave like structure made out of two rocks. Large boxes and rusty colored walls lined the sand.

I was snapped out of my confusion and fear when Glitch and Fury dropped me. The pair backed away and sat atop a box. Soon, the whole group of cats slithered into the clearing, sitting in a large cluster, focusing on me intently.

"They brought a little mouse?"
"I bet he'll lose all his blood before the fight."
"Ice'll eat him up for dinner!"

Having no idea what was going on, my mind and body froze in fear. A voice boomed above all the commotion. "Fellow Blood Rouges, I have brought in an outsider to fight in our arena!" Malicious cheers rose from the cats.

"State your name." Snake snarled. I slowly got to my paws. "Sunpaw." I growled back, legs shaking. She looked amused. "Well, Sunpaw, prepare for a battle." Her long claws unsheathed in excitement. Am I going to fight her!? What is this anyways? Why would cats fight for enjoyment like this!?

At the other end of the arena a large black cat with icy blue eyes crept out of the cave, some shiny thing strapped to his paw. He was much taller and stronger looking than I. Fresh fear buzzed through me.

"I can smell that, little one.." Ice growled at me mockingly. I unsheathed my claws. Snake was talking once again. "This battle shall now be underway!" Ice sprang at me with no hesitation.

I rolled to the side, and fresh pain nicked my foreleg. When I got to my paws, Ice's form loomed over me. I quickly lashed out at him, my claws raking his face. He barely flinched.

Before I could get away, he slammed me to the ground, making me unable to move. The cats in the crowd were spitting insults at me or cheering for Ice.

Suddenly, a huge pain filled my head. I realized he had slashed it, right by my ear. Still in a daze, I was thrown into a group of cats.

No, no! Stop! A yowl escaped me as endless claws and fangs ripped at my fur. "SUNPAW!"
