Charlie-Party Girl-
Have you ever had the feeling of wanting to hide away from the world. Like the world was just a brutal place waiting to tear you alive. Charlie got this feeling a lot. There were days that Charlie just wanted to dress in sweatpants and disappear in her dark apartment. She almost got away with it today until there was a banging on her door.
Charlie went and opened the front door dragging her blanket with her. Standing on the other side of the door is Cara. The one person she could actually stand in the world. Charlie hadn't heard from Cara in two days. Ever since that damn party that she just couldn't remember.
Cara stepped inside with a huge smile on her face. It was six at night and Charlie wanted to know why Cara was here.
"Why the hell is it so dark in here?" Cara asked looking for the light switch.
"I like my surroundings to match my soul." Charlie answered staring at her friend with a blank face as she laughed. Charlie rolled her eyes because Cara laughed. She said this all this time and nobody ever believed her. That she was dying inside and experienced nothing but darkness.
"Go get dressed we are meeting Kendall and GiGi for dinner." Cara stated and Charlie rolled her eyes. Kendall played with Cara's feeling for her. She knew that Cara would do anything for her and she used that against Cara all the time. Really it just upset Charlie but no one listened to her. All GiGi ever wanted to talk about was her relationship with Cody. Charlie didn't want to hear that ether.
"Do I have to go?" Charlie whined her sad blue eyes staring into Cara's normal ones.
"Yes now go get dressed." Cara pushes Charlie towards her bed room. Charlie sighed getting ready for dinner. After an hour she was ready. Grabbing her purse and walking out her room to Cara. They left and Cara drove to the restaurant.
Once they sat down the to others were there. Kendall snuggled into Cara making Charlie roll her eyes at how fake she was. Kendall was actually really nice and Charlie could actually consider her a friend sometimes. Not when she was fake like this to Cara though. This was one of the many reasons she liked to be alone. They ordered and GiGi wasn't talking about Cody for a change.
Charlie went along with the conversation eating her noodles. Cara and Kendall were being all giggly and whispering to eachother. Charlie just knew she had to entertain GiGi.
"So I broke up with Cody." That actually got everyone's attention. Charlie was about to tune her out until.
"I'm dating Joe."Gigi smiles a genuine smile. Charlie wanted to be able to smile. A real one and not a fake one,but sometimes that just didn't work.
"As in Jonas?" Cara asked her eyes popping out of her head.
"Yup." Gigi says and Charlie just shrug as they start talking about it. Charlie just sat there eating her noodles and scrolling through Instagram. Kendall smirked looking at her phone.
"Guys it's a party tonight!" Kenny says smirking directly at Charlie.
Charlie shrugged. "What time are we getting there?"
"Let's go!" Kendall beams and we get our receipt and pay. Then we walk out of the restaurant ignoring the cameras. As I get into Cara's car. Gigi get into Kendall's car.
"So you know who is having this party?" Charlie ask Cara kicking her feet up on the dash and pushing her seat back.
"Some boy band. " Cara says and Charlie nods pushing her brown hair out of her face. They make their way to the party listening to DS2 by future. Cara thumbs her hands on the steering wheel. We were driving for about an hour before we actually got there. Once we did it was like my whole body came alive just from hearing the blasting music.
Charlie had this sexy smirk as she walked through the party like it was her party. She walked like she was a queen and everyone else were her servants. This time she was sure not to lose Cara who was following Kendall around like a lost puppy. Once again Charlie found herself to be the life of the party.
*****************
Charlie found herself dancing with some random guy. A bottle in her left hand and her phone in her right hand. She didn't know how she even found a way to tweet because her vision was fucked all the way up. She didn't care that the guy was basically feeling her up. She just cared about the spinning going on in the room and the way her blood was roasting through her veins.
Charlie walked out onto the patio. She had needed to get away from the creepy guy. She didn't want him to get the wrong idea so she left him. That's how Charlie ended up on the patio shivering from the cool LA night air. She was looking at the stars because she absolutely loved the stars.
They were beautiful and Charlie sometimes wondered if she could ever be okay. She wondered that if stars were just gas and light but they were so beautiful then maybe she could be totally beautiful. Charlie sighed again putting her drink to her lips. Charlie turned towards the patio hearing the door opened. A tall blonde walked out. His quiff slightly fucked up. He wore a white tee shirt and black skinny jeans with flip flops on.
He smiled at Charlie and she looked away from him. He walked towards the railing standing next to her. She really looked over him. His lips were slightly chapped and he had a lip ring hanging off his bottom one. Charlie could actually say that this guy was handsome.
"I'm Charlie." She says not looking at him.
"I know." He said and she detected an accent. Everyone likes a guy with an accent.
"How?" Charlie asked confused looking at the blonde under the moonlight now.
"I met you about two days ago I think." He smirked but Charlie couldn't ever remember her night after a party. She never felt bad about because she had pictures to remember it.
"Your Charlie the party girl." He chuckles and Charlie gulped and nodded. She didn't feel proud when he said it. When he said it she just wanted to go and hide out. She felt wrong for being a party girl. She didn't like feeling that way.
Charlie just nodded and then went to walk away. Luke couldn't let her leave again. He threw this party in the hopes that she'd come. He just wanted to see her again. Talk to her and maybe it was wrong, ever since she'd asked him to come home with her and leave right after it was like he couldn't get her out of his head. He reached out clasping his long skinny fingers around her small wrist. He gave it a light tug which might have been harder than he thought because she came crashing into him dropping the glass in her hands getting liquid on both of their toes.
Charlie was staring into Luke's blue eyes. She could care less about the liquid seeping into the creases of her black painted toes. Charlie only cared about what she saw in Luke eyes. It was like the stars. Bright and beautiful. Charlie couldn't help but to think there was hope for her in them. Charlie could feel a abnormal feeling in her stomach. She never got a fuzzy feeling it was just to much.
Charlie pulled away violently running out the house. She just wanted to go home and get the sticky feeling of the liquid from between her toes. She didn't wait for Cara or anyone. She got an Uber and made her way home.
