"I'm going to miss you." I say to the perfect blue eyed boy with brown hair. His eyes gazed back at mine with want as they shined under the diner's lights. He held me against his chest as my tears threatened to fall.
"You won't miss me. I will only be gone for two weeks. You will barely realize I am gone." He kisses my forehead softly and I close my eyes savoring the moment. This boy. This boy in front of me. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I don't know what I would do without him in my life. Damn this man for being so comfortable.
"I can barely go a day without you. How am I going to last two weeks?" I look up at him, my tears finally falling. He wraps his arms around me tighter, squeezing me like he never wants to let me go.
"You're gonna be alright, Baby Girl. I am always with you. You know that." He looks down at me. It looks as if he is on the verge of tears himself. He grabs my hand and plants a kiss into my palm. I close my eyes savoring the moment. Why does this man effect me so?
