Indigo graduated high school and went to college to get her doctorate degree in psychology. She became a therapist for mentally ill children and teenagers. Indigo never married or had kids, which she never wanted. However, she always had a few pets.
Benji and Lacey broke up halfway through high school. He ended up marrying a beautiful woman named Grace. They had three kids together: Ellie Mae, Natalie Jane, and Henry Mason. Grace was a baker and Benji became a teacher.
Lacey realized that she liked women, not men. She married a woman named Sarah and they adopted a boy named Maximo from Spain.
Carter and Sam ended up becoming great friends and marrying twin sisters. They moved to Alaska together and they still talk to Indigo sometimes.
Mabel and Harvey lived to be very old and helped many more kids. Their deaths were heartbreaking to everyone who knew them.
Indigo's father was sentenced to 12 years in jail. He died four years into his sentence due to lung cancer and kidney failure.
Indigo's mother was sentenced to 17 years in jail and life on parol. She currently lives a miserable life and is not allowed to see Indigo or Benji.
All in all, Indigo and friends lived successfully and happily, just as they deserved.
