The last day came upon us quicker than I expected. We were sitting at a cafe taking in the last moments in Paris and recalling our trip.

"What is everyone doing tonight?" Tyler asked.

"Tonight?" Grace repeated.

"Yeah," Tyler shrugged. "It's our last night."

"Yeah, Grace and I won't be able to go anywhere." Dan told us.

"Why?" I asked.

"They're hosting some goodbye party thing for us." Grace said. "It's cute, but there's gonna be a lot of French people."

"Er, Grace," Bella bit back a laugh. "We're in France."

Grace rolled her eyes. "You know what I mean."

"What about everyone else?" Tyler asked.

"Well, I'm taking Bella out on a date." Connor answered.

Ryan grinned at Tyler. "I'm free boo."

"I bet Natasha would disagree." Tyler pointed out. "Caleb, what are you doing, please say you won't leave me alone with this one."

"Actually there's this French Horror movie I wanna go see, it's on tonight." Caleb told them. "Do you guys wanna go?"

"Er, don't really like horror movies." Ryan said, looking around in embarrassment.

"Mate I don't understand enough French to watch a whole movie." Tyler exclaimed.

"It's a horror movie, there's not gonna be much speaking." Caleb pointed out.

"Yeah but the speaking that there will be I won't understand, so I'm not really up for spending money on that."

"Come on man." Caleb sighed. "I've been seeing those posters all week."

"I'll go if you pay for me." Tyler grinned.

Caleb shook his head. "No chance."

"Well then no can do." Tyler shrugged.

"Ryan--"

"No Caleb, you know I love you bro but I'm not gonna sleep at least till I'm 35 after that movie, especially if I won't understand it." Ryan defended.

"Great friends I've got." Caleb muttered.

"I'm up for seeing the movie if you want." The words slipped out of my mouth before I even thought them. For a split second I questioned whether they were even mine, but the tensing of Dan's hand around my waist as the words were said and Caleb's shooting eyebrows left me in no doubt.

"You sure about that?" Caleb asked, clearly surprised, his eyes kept on shifting from me to Dan and back to me, but they weren't worried or unsure, they were challenging. I could just imagine Dan's killing glare.

Dan squeezed my hip almost in a warning way but I ignored it.

"Yeah, I've heard about the movie a while back and I missed the screening back at home." I told him. "I didn't think I'd have time to see it here but seeing as Dan can't go out tonight anyway, I'm free and I don't wanna spend my last evening bored."

I could feel everyone looking at us. Dan's stare was burning into the side of my face and into Caleb's front face, Grace's eyebrows were raised suspiciously, a smirk on her face, Connor's eyes kept on wandering from from Dan to Caleb, probably preparing himself to jump between them if a very likely fight was going to start any time soon, Bella was leaning back, smiling at me and nodding, like what I suggested was the right thing to do, Tyler was smirking mischievously, and Ryan was leaning on Caleb's shoulder in a supporting manor. Everyone was staring, but no one said anything. Even Caleb hadn't answered.
