PROLOGUE
" So do you love him?" Daniel asked his blue eyes filled with tears. I looked away from him watching the rain cascade down my window like freshly cried tears. " I never meant to hurt you." I said my voice thick with emotion. I heard him sigh before I felt him grab my chin, forcing me to look into his eyes. " What does he have that I don't Jane? What can I do to make you change your mind?" He asked his voice pleading. I shook my head and took a deep shaky breath. " We're young Daniel people break up, and sometimes there's nothing you can do about it." I said a single tear sliding from my flushed cheek. " Don't say that." He whispered as he leaned in to kiss me. I caught myself before I got lost in his kiss that was rushed and urgent. " I can't Daniel, not anymore." With that Daniel stepped back, the water in his eyes finally running over. " Whatever, you're not worth it." He said as he took two steps back then turned around and walked out the door.
As the door slammed closed I let out a loud scream and collapsed on the floor. Tears poured from my eyes plopping down on the wooden floor as I clutched my chest.
