Chapter One
It began sprinkling. Little droplets of water drenched her hair, skin, and clothes. The water droplets began growing larger and falling frequently. The light 'pitter patter' of rain turned into wet thuds as the icy water raced to meet the ground. The sprinkling turned into a torrential downpour. Ashton, Michael, Calum and Luke rushed down the street as it began to rain, not thinking it would today. They became completely soaked and needed to shelter somewhere until the rain slowed down. They darted into the almost empty coffee shop to take shelter until the rain stopped or slowed. They looked around and noticed a girl with long brown hair which was tied up in a ponytail and dark blue eyes. She was short and was cleaning the counter, looking up at them when they stumbled through the door. Ashton gazed at her, thinking she was gorgeous.
Beth had been called in early and was bored considering she had only had several customers come in and one of them was asking for directions. She cleaned the counter, looking up when the bell rang and noticing 4 soaked boys stumble in. One boy had blonde hair that stuck to his forehead as little water droplets fell down his hair. He was gnawing on his black lip ring as he pulled at his water clad black t shirt that was sticking to him. Another boy had his hair sticking up in all different direction as he began to take off his thoroughly soaked flannel shirt, leaning out the door to ring it out. A dirty blonde boy had only a mere vest on and was visibly shivering as he was completely wet, his bandana so heavy with water that it was falling down his face. The last boy had his black hair stuck to his forehead and was in his eyes as he stood awkwardly as a puddle of water formed at his shoes. She knew exactly who they was, considering g they was one of her favourite bands and feeling embarrassed as she was wearing one of their shirts.
She took a deep breath as she ducked under the counter to grab them some towels. She squeezed her eyes shut as she was mentally freaking out to have her favourite band in front of her, in the coffee shop she worked in, literally a few meters away from her. As her thought process continued she realised she was only getting more worked up about the fact they was here and had spent a while under the counter. She stood up, banging her head on the counter. She rubbed her head as she noticed they was all staring at her, wide eyed at, what she assumed, was her stupid act.
"Oh, must be cold." She walked around the counter and handed each of them a towel that she kept for any spillages.
"Thanks and is your head okay?" Ashton smiled at her and began to dry off with the towel she gave him.
"Yeah, it was only a tap on the head." She smiled slightly and walked back around the counter.
They all sat at a table as they dried off. "Would you like anything to drink?" She asked softly from the counter.
They all ordered different types of drink, some drinking coffee while the others decided to drink tea. Once their drink was ordered, luke stood up and walked to the back of the cafe to call their manager or someone ont come and pick them up.
"So I'm guessing you know who we are as you're wearing our shirt." Michael said to the girl, making her blush as she brought over their coffees and teas, placing them carefully on the table; her hand shaking ever so slightly.
"Yeah...I do." She smiled softly as she held the tray that had their drinks on to her chest.
"That's great. Who is your favourite member? Is it me?" Calum asked.
"No, it's obviously me." Michael said.
"I'm not saying." She mumbled.
"Anyway, you should sit with us." Luke smiled as he walked back over once he was finished with his phone call. He sat down on his chair and nodded to the free one that happened to be next to ashton.
