Chapter Five

The next morning Ashton woke up to the sound of Luke, Michael and Calum playing Fifa on the Xbox. He looked down to see beth was gone from sleeping on top of him. He sighed and slowly sat up, rubbing his forehead. He winced ever so slightly and rubbed his eyes. Ashton looked over at the boys, noticing they couldn't have gotten up much before him as they all had dishevelled hair and wa still in their night clothes. He noticed the blanket was still over him and he thought that beth must of laid it back over him when she got up. He smiled, thinking about how caring and sweet she could be.

"Lover boy is finally awake." Luke laughed when he noticed Ashton was up. Ashton laughed and rolled his eyes.

Michael and Calum also turned to face him and both laughed when they saw his forehead. They laughed louder when they noticed he was cuddling with the blanket.

"Dude, you got it bad with that girl." michael chuckled and went back to playing his game, getting an advantage over the others as they wasnt paying attention.

"Man, that is one big bruise." Calum laughed.

"Yeah, yeah." He laughed and got up, walking to the kitchen area to get a drink.

He grabbed a cans of soda and walked back to the lounge, sitting down on the couch as he watched the boys play Fifa. He passed a can to each of the boys once he sat down and leaned back, opening his and took a few mouthfuls before speaking up once more.

"Where's Beth?" He asked, trying to seem nonchalant.

"In the bathroom or her bunk or the kitchen or actually I don't know." Luke shrugged, focusing on his game more than answering Ashton.

Ashton chuckled and got up. He walked to the bunk area and crouched down to Beth's bunk. He opened the curtains and laughed when Beth jumped. He knocked on the wood next to the bunk, clearly too late if he wanted to warn her that he was there.

"You scared me." She placed her hand over her chest.

"Sorry. I'll knock more" He joked, grinning as he stifled his laugh. She giggled at him and sat up from where she was laying.

"Anyway, What are you doing?" He asked, resting his head on his elbow which was leaning on her bed.

"Nothing really." She shrugged.

He nodded. She looked up at his head and stifled a giggle. She leaned up on her knees and took the bandana that he lent her and tied it carefully around his head.

"As I said yesterday. It's a good thing you wear bandanas." She smiled.

He chuckled and nodded. "Yeah, I blame Michael for the bruise."

She nodded and smiled as she moved away from him.

"If you two have finished being all lovey dovey, we have to get breakfast." Luke, Calum and Michael stood in the doorway, watching them.

"Oh right." Ashton stood up.

Luke sniggered and walked by them and off the bus into a small diner. Calum, Micheal followed him, either nudging Ashton suggestively or laughing. Ashton followed and laughed also. Beth got out her bunk and walked after them, her face red with embarrassment at what the boys said about her and Ashton.

They all walked into the diner and sat in a booth at the back. They each ordered their food and began to eat. Michael and Calum trying to eat as much as they can. The diner itself had a 80s diner theme as the waitress look as if they climbed out of an 80s movie as they rolled around the diner carefully in roller skates to deliver the food that had been ordered. Michael and Calum both ordered waffles with a load of syrup, Ashton ordered pancakes as did luke while Beth went for what she usually had for breakfast; toast and scrambled egg.
