Carmen walked down a trail through the woods and finds herself at a little cave with vines covering the entrance for privacy. She pushes back the vines and walks through feeling the vines brush against her shoulders and pull her hair back. "I'm home" she calls to her sibling and mother. Others like her walk out of the shadows revealing a pair of ears and a tail on each. The ears were grey with black tips and the tail was solid grey. One of the 'crossovers' was a young girl, another was and older male, and a mother. Carmen was the middle aged and usually helped her mother. Their entire family is half human and half wolf, hence the ears and tail.
The cave that Carmens family lived in was fairly dark with only two torches near the back for light. A little sofa type thing was against the back wall and there were four doorways with a rounded top for the entrance to each family members room. The rooms were fairly small, there were bedframes with think wool then some cloth laid over it.
The family had a fairly good life. That is, after the town had chased them out.
