Back to the normal POV.
(y/t/n) = your twitter name. (If you don't have one, please pretend you do and make it whatever you want it to be.
---------------------------You smiled and started eating your ice cream.
"Hey, (y/n), can you sing?" Riker asked.
Pink appeared on your cheeks again. "Not really. Well, not that good. I don't think I can." You replied.
"I'm sure you can." Ross smiled. "Everyone can sing."
"But, not everyone is good at it." You said. "You all are. I'm not."
"That's not true." Riker smiled softly. "There are days where we suck at singing."
"Our voice could break." Ratliff added.
"Then we sound like a dying whale." Rydel joked.
You chuckled. "Thanks, but I still wouldn't sound good."
"Do you like singing?" Ross asked.
"Yes, but--"
"Then sing. Anyone can sing if they want to." He smiled.
Pink dusted your cheeks. "R-Right now?"
"Only if you want to. Or when we're in the car or in the hotel room." Rydel smiled.
"I'll wait until it's just us." You decided.
--
"Rydel, was it necessary to make us eat our ice cream so fast just to get into the car?" Ross asked.
"Yes!" She replied. Riker got into the driver's seat and you all put on your seat belts. He started driving. After a minute of silence, you put in your earbuds and listened to Another World by The Vamps. You looked out the window and started singing along to the music, without realizing it.
After the song was over, you glanced away from the window to see everyone starting at you with a smile. "Um," You began, taking out your earbuds. "Did I do something wrong?"
"You sing really, really good." Rydel smiled.
You had a look of confusion on your face. "How would you kn--"
"You must have sang along to your music without realizing it." Riker replied, amused.
"I-I did?" You blushed. They nodded. "Well, forget I did and erase that awful voice out of your head." You said.
Ross chuckled. "Can't. There's no awful voice in my head. Just yours." This caused you to blush even more.
"Wh-What. . I'm just going to go on Twitter." You said, typing in the password to your phone.
"No!" Riker, Rocky, Ratliff, Ross and Rydel all yelled, a bit too quickly.
You raised an eyebrow, puzzled. "Why not? It's not like there's anything bad."
"Um." Ross began. "You might get hate."
"A fan told me this back at the airport. She was really nice. She told me why. It's fine." You shrugged.
"No, no!" He chuckled nervously. "Your notifications might be blowing up."
"Right. So, I should get rid of them before it blows up even more." You explained. "It's fine, Ross." You smiled.
"But-- But--"
"Fine. Let's tell her why." Rocky sighed.
"Are you cra--" But, Rocky put a hand over Ross' mouth.
"No. I'm serious. (y/n), we're taking you to a surprise." He smiled.
"You are?" You blinked, shocked.
"Heck yeah we are. But, the fans know about it and might be tweeting you." Riker explained.
"Shut up, Riker. That was what I was going to say."
"Guys, stop." Ross sighed. "Let's all listen to the radio."
"Okay, fine." Riker turned on the radio.
(Favorite song by R5) came on. You started singing along, only to realize you were and stop.
"Come on, (y/n)! Sing! You have a great voice! It's better than mine!" Ross grinned.
You blushed, grinning. "Okay. But, I'm not so sure about that last statement." You earned a laugh before you started singing along to the radio with them.
--
"(y/n). I can't lie anymore. You trust us. I can't break that trust." Rydel said. You both were in your shared hotel room.
"You're scaring me. . What is it?" You asked quietly.
"We didn't want you to go on Twitter today because we didn't want you to find out. . Fans ship you and Ross together. I'm sorry for not telling you sooner."
