Chapter 10

Hey guys sorry it takes me forever to write chapters. Im sooooooooo busy all the time. Sorry again. Now to the story.

Elizabeth's POV

I ended up wearing a cream dress and nude flats. Heels are the worst idea ever. My back hurts enough. While I get ready, Nate sets up a few things that I should have. I feel bad that he has to do so much for me. I mean, he is still with me after everything I put him through. That's what every girl wants, no, dreams. Someone who will always be there for you. No matter the trouble. That's my Nate.

I walked outside to the back yard to where the party is going to be. Nate is walking around, scratching his head. He must be looking for something. I walk over to him and start looking too.

"What are you looking for?"I ask.

"The pink table cloths. I thought they were in the kitchen but they weren't there," he says, scratching his head again.

"Oh, um did we buy them?"

"I thought we did," he said, confused.

"I don't think we have any," I sigh. Well, This isn't this great? The one major thing we need we didn't buy. I guess I'll go get some table cloths. "I'll go get them. You set up everything else," I say, walking towards the house.

When I get to the house, I grab the keys  and head to the garage. I get into the car and head to the store. I walk around trying to find what I need but they don't have any. I try other stores and finally have enough. By the time I get home, people have already started showing up. I half run half waddle to the back yard.

"Hey everybody,"I say walking over to Nate and my parents. He takes the bag and finishes setting up while I go around and greet people. After awhile everyone has shown up and the shower is full swing. People are talking and laughing. It's nice and comforting to know that everyone is having a good time. I'm standing near the tables talking to my mom when Nate comes and gives me a hug. My mom smiles and walks over to my dad. Nate give my forehead a kiss and says that it's time to open the gifts. I go and sit in a chair and he comes and sits next to me.

After the last gift, I was sure this little baby wasn't going to need another thing until she was at least 15. We thanked everyone and slowly people started to leave. My parents stayed and helped us clean up. I was sad to see them leave but I was so ready to go to bed. It was only about 6 in the evening so I didn't go to sleep. Nate and I just watched a movie in the bed after taking a nice shower.

Hours later I woke up having to pee. It was 3 in the morning but this little monster didn't care. After I finished my business, I went to the kitchen to get some more of that delicious cake leftover from the shower. I just sat and enjoyed the quite and the cake. Suddenly I heard something outside. I looked out the window and saw shadows moving around. I jumped up and went upstairs. I woke Nate up and he went and turned one the lights to look around. He came back and said that he didn't see anyone and went back to sleep. I couldn't sleep. I watch tv until I dozed off.
