Lord Beerus's Rage and Reece's forgotten anniversary!

Chapter 5

Whis pov:

Lady Reece and I walked into the room with caution considering Lord Beerus only got half a day's sleep. Lord Beerus was sitting up in his bed holding his chin looking tired. "What?" He said while glaring daggers at us. "I was having a nice dream." I sighed. "Lady Reece has something she would like to say to you." Lord Beerus's eyes widened, then lowered. "Yes, what is it." Lady Reece walked forward until she was near Lord Beerus. "My Lord do you remember what significance February the 15th holds?" Lord Beerus tapped his chin and thought for a moment. "I don't recall anything from that day." Lady Reece grabbed a pillow from the bed and threw it at Lord Beerus causing him to fall of the bed and smacked his head and ears on the ground. "YOU FORGOT OUR ANNIVERSARY!!" Lord Beerus groaned and started rubbing his ears. "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU! YOU FORGOT THE DAY WE BOTH SAID I LOVE YOU! THE DAY WE AGREED TO SPEND THE REST OF OUR LIVES TOGETHER BECAUSE WE LOVE EACH OTHER!" She started to cry. "I THOUGHT I MEANT SOMETHING TO YOU!" She started to full on sob, it was sad to watch. Lord Beerus eyes widened. Then he reached forward and captured Lady Reece in his arms. He held her against him and let her cry. They stayed like that for a little while, Lord Beerus started to rub her shoulders and her back. When she finally stopped crying Lord Beerus picked her up and set her on the bed. Then he looked at me with wide eyes, as if asking what do I do? I smiled. Then reached in my pocket and grabbed Lady Reece's allergy meds. I pulled them out showing Lord Beerus. He smiled and reached his hand out. I walked forward and gave him the meds. Lord Beerus cleared his throat. "Reece, I need you to take your allergy meds." He stated. She pouted than crossed her arms while looking away. Lord Beerus sighed. "My Goddess do you remember the first day we met?" Lady Reece slightly smiled. "Of course I do, you saved me." "That's true. I was and still am mystified by your beauty." She blushed slightly. "I remember it all very well." Lord Beerus smiled. 

(One year earlier)-

Lord Beerus pov:

I groaned. "How long until we get there? I hate walking and waiting!" "According to Bulma's directions we should be there shortly my Lord." Whis stated. "Alright, those cakes better be delicious or I'm destroying the earth!" "Of course Lord Beerus, Bulma said this cake shop was the best on the planet." "We'll see." I said slightly annoyed at all the people staring at us. A women's scream came from nearby stopping Whis and I.  We heard light footsteps then someone appeared from a corner and ran into me. It was a young women. I steadied her than looked her up and down. She was a lot shorter than me, I'd say around five foot 2. She was slightly curvy with long brown hair that went to her shoulders. Her face was absolutely beautiful. She was wearing a blue blouse and matching skirt. It had swirl designs all over the outfit. I could get lost in her honey brown eyes. Argghh, what am I thinking? I am Lord Beerus, God of Destruction! I pushed her back ready to scold her for invading my space. Then a male's voice yelled in frustration. "Where did that bitch go?" She started shaking, than loud footsteps stomped towards us. She squeaked than ran behind me. I held my arms behind my back in my regular superior fashion. Two men rounded the corner and stared. They were both around five foot 8 inches, with short black hair. One was holding his lower region with a pained expression. "Hey you freaky purple cat thing! Move out of the way or we'll beat you down!" "Will you now?" I smirked. I charged Kai in the tip of my fingers enjoying the electric current. "Do you intend to take me on?" Both their eyes widened. "Who are you?" "I am Lord Beerus God of Destruction and I demand to know why you are harassing this Goddess of an earthling!" I said proudly. "He's Bluffing!" The other guy shouted. Whis sighed. "He really isn't." Both men shook, then took a step back. "We didn't do anything! She attacked us!" I looked behind me. "Is that true?" She bowed her head. "No, Lord Beerus they tried robbing me so I kicked the closest one." I growled. Than walked forward. "I regret to inform you both that you have made a huge mistake lying to me. Now you shall both be punished!" I then proceeded to beat them to near death. Then I turned around, and stared at the young women. She was shaking and slightly crying. Whis put a hand on her shoulder. "You seem like you've been through a lot today. Why don't you come with us to a cake shop! We've heard nothing but good things." He smiled warmly. I felt rage at that smile but let it go. "So now your inviting people with out asking me, Whis?" He laughed. "Sorry my Lord would you like her to leave?" Whis asked with his eyebrow raised humorously. "No, its fine." I sighed. Than walked to her. She took a small step back. I smirked showing by teeth. "If your afraid of me maybe you shouldn't come along." She jumped forward. "No, that's not it I..um..I'm just really thankful." "Hmm?" I hummed. "I'm sorry, this just feels like a lot to take in." "That's understandable." I stated while stretching. "Alright lets get going." "Yes, Lord." Whis put his hand on her shoulder and we continued our walk to the cake shop. I glanced at her again. "By the way what's your name?" She blushed heavily. "Oh where are my manners..My name is Reece!" "Reece." Both Whis and I said in unison. "I think that name fits you wonderfully. It's nice." I said while glancing around hunting for the cake shop. "Thanks.." She said happily. We eventually made it there shortly, and of course Whis and I had to sample every single cake there. While Reece had a chocolate caramel cake. We sat down at a table underneath a tree outside the shop. I sighed in contentment. "Alright Earth is safe, for now." I said satisfied. Reece seemed confused. "Safe from what?" She asked with wide eyes. "Oh, Lord Beerus said he would destroy earth if the cakes weren't to his liking." I finished my last bite of vanilla chocolate cake with nuts and grinned happily. "Oh, that's kinda sad. Why would you destroy this world?" She asked while looking curiously at me. I sighed. "I'm the God of Destruction. It's my job to destroy so that new things can arise from my destruction. It keeps the balance in this universe. I'll admit I enjoy every bit of destruction, just as a God of Creation enjoys life." She looked like she was deep in thought for a moment. "I think I understand." She stated plainly. Whis raised an eyebrow and I smirked. "You do?" "Yes, its like if you were born to be a baker." Reece said while staring at her cake. "It would be horrible if you had a talent for baking and hated to bake things." I laughed. "You have an interesting view on things, I like that." She blushed. "Do earthlings blush a lot or is it just you?" I asked her seriously. It only made her blush more. I sighed. "Well Whis we should get going. I think I could use a much needed nap." "Alright Lord Beerus, let me go and grab us some more cakes for later." I nodded. Whis got up and went inside the shop. I stared at Reece and if she blushes anymore she might die. I haven't seen anyone blush this much. I reached out and felt her forehead. "Are you sure your not sick? It would be annoying if you died out here." She squeaked and leaned back. "I'm fine Lord Beerus, I'm just nervous." "Why?" "Huh?" "Why, are you nervous?" I said while leaning forward trying to read her expression. "I..I've been trying to think of how I can thank you for earlier. I can't really come up with anything though." I tapped my chin and thought for a moment. Than smiled. "You can kiss me." "What!?" Reece yelled in a high pitched voice while still blushing. "Isn't that what damsels normally do when their saved?" "I-I guess." I leaned forward and smiled. She blushed then leaned forward and kissed me. When our lips connected I felt like all I needed was those lips against mine. Screw oxygen. Whis walked out with boxes of cakes. "Lord Beerus I have our.." His eyes widened than he smirked. "Well that started off rather quickly." He said while giggling.

Third person pov: In the months that passed Lord Beerus and Lady Reece got to know each other better by courting, than they were engaged, married, and now here they are a married couple a year later.

Lord Beerus closed his eyes and smiled. "You sure have lost a lot of your shyness, but I'm glad you still blush the same way." Lady Reece smiled feeling better. (AN: He told her about when they first met in his pov, its just hard for me to explain.) "You do remember that at least, so if you remember that where were we married?" Lady Reece smiled. "We were married under the sunset, in an open field with flowers everywhere. With one of every cake from that cake shop we shared our first kiss at. It was nice and warm out. You wore a white wedding dress that went to your knees, with a flowing shimmering trail behind it. It had slight ruffles and no sleeves. It did your body justice as well." Reece blushed. Lord Beerus chuckled. "I was wearing my normal attire, because you insisted I wear it. Why did you anyways?" "I thought you looked attractive in it and I still do." Reece said while smiling. "Well that explains our wedding night." Lord Beerus stated while proudly smirking. "I can explain our wedding night in full detail as well. You were wearing a black lacy outfit and.." "Ok! Whis is still in the room!!" Whis chuckled. "I can tell when it's time to leave." He giggled than walked out of the room softly humming. Lord Beerus sighed. "My Goddess there is no doubt in my mind that I love you with ever fiber of my destruction loving being. I'm sorry I hurt you by forgetting one of the best days of my entire existence. Will you give me another chance and come with me to somewhere special tomorrow?" Lady Reece grabbed her allergy meds from Lord Beerus and opened the bottle and swallowed a tablet. "You remembered every thing except for the day of our wedding. Why?" Lord Beerus sweat dropped. "You should know by now that I'm not good at remembering dates." Lady Reece laughed and lord Beerus joined her. "So are you still angry my Goddess?" "We'll find out tomorrow won't we?" She stated teasingly. He just sighed than crossed his arms while his ears lowered. "Lord Beerus aren't you going to climb into bed with me? It's cold and your warm." His ears raised to their normal height and he grabbed the pillow from the ground. Then he jumped up on the bed and laid down. Lady Reece laid down next to him and reached up and kissed his cheek causing him to purr. He pulled her closer and put his arm over her. "I've missed you." He stated quietly. "I missed you to and I'm glad your back." Reece said sweetly. Lord Beerus gave a rare small smile and gently said. "I love you my Goddess." Reece snuggled as close as she could get to him. "As I love you my Lord." His heart jumped with happiness and he kissed her forehead. "Goodnight, Reece." "Goodnight Beerus." 

Whis who had been standing outside the door listening in smiled and felt like singing then covered his mouth before he could start. He left smiling and went to visit Bulma and Chichi on earth to help him set up Lord Beerus's and Lady Reece's Anniversary do-over. He grinned happy things were finally going back to normal.
