My name's Natalie Prescott. I'm a second year fairy. I have a huge secret nobody knows about. I can't use my powers. They were taken away when I was younger and I was cursed after that. My mum sacrificed her life for me, but my powers were still stolen. I laid on my computer desk and sighed. The door burst open, it was Talia.

"I missed you so much Nat! How was your holiday?" Talia chanted. She greeted Bluebell, my pixie. She's the only one who knows I'm powerless. "Hello Bluebell!"

"Hi Talia." Bluebell replied.

"My holiday wasn't special. I'm glad I'm back here. I didn't do much." I told her.

"Oh! We're all waiting for you at the entrance ceremony by the way." Talia said, using her magic to summon me a dress. It was light blue, sparkly, about ankle length and it was sleeveless.

"This is gorgeous Talia!" I giggled. Talia stroked her blonde hair.

"Yeah, yeah. Let's go!" Talia grinned. We walked out of the dormitories into the hall where the entrance ceremony was taking place. Talia had gained her enchantix powers last year, by saving her mothers life. I couldn't do much to help because of my magic. Mrs Merryway entered the hall. Girls were excited to hear who received their enchantix powers. Some students already knew. I sat next to my friends Talia, Olivia, Gia and Musa. The girls stopped chatting when Mrs Merryway clapped her hands together.

"Attention everyone! Hello, first years, second years, third years, fourth years, fifth years, six years and seven years." Mrs Merryway announced. "We welcome you to our school of magic, first years. Please line up to be told where to go." All the first years left the building in a good manner. "Second years, I will tell you all who have achieved their enchantix powers." There were "oohs" and "aahs".

"I bet you will get yours, Nat." Olivia winked. Of course I wouldn't.

"Okay. Let me call out the names. Anna Griffin, Talia Wilson, Musa Jung, Chelsea Williams, Mercy Benson, Olivia Sade, Hannah Benson and... Natalie Prescott." Mrs Merryway bellowed. I gasped. I got my enchantix powers! I lost my enthusiasm, remembering I can't use them.

"Girls this is awesome!" Musa beamed.

"Not for me." Gia sighed. "I'm the odd one out, aren't I?"

"Don't worry Gia. You will get them soon." I assured her. We all nodded. Gia smiled.

"Thanks guys. You're the best." She grinned. We formed a group hug.

In the planet Sesturne...

A tall, pale man walked out of a portal. Sesturne wouldn't be the same again. The man had black hair past shoulder length, a cape and a hood. He walked to the palace door.

"Excuse me, please leave." A guard spoke. The man used his magic to manipulate the guards.

"Pardon me?" The man smirked.

"You may come in." The manipulated guards spoke. The doors flung open and the man walked inside. The palace was quiet. He walked up to the throne room door, where the king and queen should be. There were guards there too. Before they could strike, they were manipulated too. The doors to the throne room flung open. The king and queen were astonished to see the man walking up to them.

"Guards!" The queen yelled. "How did you get in here?" The guards came rushing in.

"Fusion!" The man yelled. The guards fainted. The king and queen gasped. The man walked up to them. He used his dark magic to put a magic rope to tie their body to the chair. He also put tape on their mouths.

"You're coming with me. If you want me to set me free, you will give me what I need." The man cackled. The queen, king and him vanished.

Back in the academy...

"Guys, I have some bad news!" Talia panted. She was doing her daily excersize while the we were relaxing in my room.

"What is it?" I asked.

"My planet. Sesturne is in danger!" Talia whinced. "A strange man took mother and father. I don't know where to!"

"Thats horrible. Girls, I think it's time we take a visit to Sesturne." Musa suggested. We nodded, but Talia shook her head.

"My guards are manipulated, they won't let us in the palace to investigate." Talia grimaced.

"This calls for an investigation!" Gia said. "We'll collect as much information as we can, Talia. Do you have a sample of your parents with you?"

"Of course not!" Talia sighed.

"We need it or else we can't track them down using the DNA locator." Gia explained.

"There must be another way." I sighed.

"There is! Talia give me some of your hair." Gia commanded.

"Wha... Okay." Talia stammered. She pulled a piece of her hair off and gave it to Gia. Gia scanned it on her device. It started to flash red.

"I've found something!" Gia beamed. She scanned her device. "Their in an unknown planet that's made out of dark magic!"

"That can't be good." Musa grimaced. I nodded.

"We have to go there!" Talia exclaimed. "I have to save my parents!"

"Sure, Talia. But we have to find a way to get out of this academy first." Musa chuckled. We laughed and nodded.
