I had fallen asleep on Harry again, but he told me just to go ahead and get comfortable, he didn't mind. Shocked, I kept my head lain in his lap. I'm not sure if he thought I was asleep, but I could feel his fingers gently combing through my hair, braiding through it with his finger tips.

I didn't want to say anything, for fear I would destroy this blissful moment. Eventually the pleasurable sensation of his cool fingertips coaxed me into a peaceful slumber.

A dense fog had settled over the quiet state of Georgia, so thick, we could barely make out the Welcome To Perry Georgia! sign. My eyes hardened on the road ahead. I fisted the fabric which was Harry's blazer.

"Turn down this road." I commanded, my eyes flashing and latching on each object they found. Louis turned down the familiar street and we passed a series of cozy homes, which were now cold and abandoned, before I found the house I was looking for. My heart dropped and I started to fumble for words. "S-stop!" I managed to speak, the truck close enough to the house.

I threw open the door and jumped out, ignoring the shouts and defiant yells coming from the truck. I ran headlong up the drive and onto the porch. I kicked open the door and immediately my glock was in my hand, weilding it in all directions, down the foyer. I lowered it slightly and craned my head.

"Lyrike!?" I shouted. I was greeted by another chilling silence. "Lyr!?" I called again as I rounded the staircase and walked into the kitchen.  I heard something being knocked down and I switched on the lights and pointed it in the direction of the noise.

A pair of watery green eyes blinked, before the weileder meowed and went back to licking up the spilled mess. "Butler?" I saidin utter shock as I stared at the gray cat. Lord have mercy, since the Apocalypse started he's dropped some serious poundage. At the use of his name,  his tiny gray head perked up and he let out a small mewling meow and ran towards me, rubbing aginst my leg.

I reached down and picked up his near weightless body. I scratched his ears, hearing him purr in pleasure. I walked around the kitchen, investigating the place. My eyes fell on three medicine bottles on the table, prescription medication. I rolled the bottles over, reading the label.

Empty....

"Arianna!" Harry's voice startled me outof my daze. "What the hell were you thinking!? Their could have been walkers or maskers in here, and you just waltzed in here and forgot everything that could possibly happen!!" I blinked and turned to him. His eyes zeroed in on the furball in my arms, already taking a little lion snooze. "Is that a cat?"

I nodded, still off in my own world. He couldn't control himself. "GIMME GIMMIE GIMME GIMME GIMME!!" He stole that cat from me and I furrowed my eyebrows.

Her car is here, but she isn't...Lyrike where the hell are you!?

"Arianna, love maybe we should just give up and try to find your next friend..." Louis whispered, my blood shot eyes hardned on the black road racing beneathe the truck.

"No." I answered harshly. "She's still alive. I know it." Suddenly Max began barking from the back of the truck. I couldn't see much from the murky blackness of the night. Then Butler went nuts, jumping at the windows, screeching meows.

"WOAH!" Niall yelled. "What's up with the animals!?" Then my more insane stupid part of me took over. My eyes danced over the dimly lit signs of the downtown, Alot of the lights were broken. Reading letters that once made names of businesses.
