With a loud rumble, a lightning bolt tore through the sky, illuminating the forest who was taken over by the large storm. Gradually, single rain drops started to tumble down to the ground from the grey rainclouds. Drenching the foliage and turning the earth into thick, soggy mud.
With small splashes, a girl was sprinting through the forest, or more specific, a ghoul. Her ink back dress and dark boots covered in mud and sticks. But she didn't seem to care about her messy appearance, her mind was set on the escaping the enemy that was chasing her.
The flash of a lightning bolt made her purple eyes dart up to the sky, jerking her up to get a clear look at the storm. Giggling lightly, she started slow down and finally started to skip along the dark trees which loomed above her like dark shadows.
"How interesting." She giggled again, softer, and this time laced with an odd sinister tone. "Seems like they're not done playing yet.." She sighed disappointed. Looking back at the trees with her violet orbs.
Agonizing sounds and rustles could be heard in the distance. And they seemed to be coming closer every second to where the girl was standing.
