Lazy Summer Haze

July was a hot month, as always for the residents of parkton.
Lily Peaker sat with her back against the wall, wondering what it was she could do with her life in the scorching 33° heat.
She stood up and dusted herself off, walking towards the pool.
She changed and jumped in, half expecting the water to be icy when she jumped in, however, it was almost tropical.
Lily swam for the county swim team, you see, so having a pool was essential.
Her phone buzzed from the poolside.
"Coach?"
She picked it up, hauling herself into the side.
"Lily... We got through! I need you to come down for the laps challenge effective immediately."
Lily sighed. Now she was just slightly jealous of the people who didn't know what to do with their lives.
