*Cole's P.O.V*
I don't know why I did it. I felt like a mad man. Knocking girls out with heavy metal artwork was not something I did on a daily basis. But I couldn't let her just walk away, not when I just got her.
It did cross my mind that letting her come back on her own was more rational, but there was this burning fear that she wouldn't come back and I just couldn't except that possibility.I dragged my hands down my face and let out a sigh, taking in the scenery of what Id just done. Lis's non-moving body lied peacefully on the carpet in front of me. She had a small cut on the back of her head that was trickling blood. The more I looked at her unconscious body, the more guilt swelled up in me.
I lifted her small body and brought her to my bedroom. I owed it to her for her to wake up comfortably. I left her hands free but hand-cuffed her feet to the bed so she couldn't escape. The hand-cuffs required a key so she hand no chance of using her hands to free herself.
I needed to go shopping since I would be feeding two now. I left a note and a glass of water on the bedside table just incase she woke up when I was gone.*Lis's P.O.V*
I woke up in a strange bedroom I didn't recognize. Panic rushed through me as I found my legs chained to the bed. My head throbbed in pain and I tired to recall what happened and where I was. I looked around the room and noticed a slip of paper on the nightstand held in place by a glass of water. My throat ached dry but I didn't trust the water so moved onto the paper. I reached over, gripping the paper with my fingertips, and carefully slid it out from beneath the glass.
Hey Lis sorry, went to get food,
again sorry :( - ColeI felt like throwing up. My only chance I having a normal relationship was gone. I guess I got what I wanted. I wanted change and as I heard the front door open I knew nothing would be the same.
Cole walked into the bedroom and his eyes widened with shock when he saw me awake. I glared at him with confused frustration. I didn't understand.
"Hey uhm Lis, your awa-" I stopped him mid sentence.
"Explain?!" I demanded tears burning behind my eyes.
"Your were gonna leave.." Tears swelled in his eyes. "I was afraid you wouldn't come back." He looked away, fear in his voice.
"Well Cole I would have come back but now I'm not so sure. You can't just knock people out so they don't leave!" Anger was building inside me.
"What were you thinking Cole?! Unlock these handcuffs I wanna go home!"
"You can leave. You'll have me arrested." He stated calmly.
"Why did you do this?" Tears trickled down my face.
"I don't know!!" He shouted dragging his hands down his face, he started to cry panicked tears.
"Just let me go. I won't call the cops."
"Yes you will. Why wouldn't you? I'm not letting you go." He walked over and had the guts to put his hands on my arms.
I pushed them off and lied down knowing I didn't have a choice.
"I shouldn't have done this. I wish I could go back. I wish I could let you go but it's too late." He turned unable to look at me.
"Can I have a drink?" I sat still, laying on my side.
"I left you water."
"I didn't know if it was safe."
"It is."
"Okay.. thanks." A few tears slid down my face by I didn't wipe them away.
I heard Cole breathe a long heavy breath before he lied in the bed next to me. I felt anger drift through me but Cole didn't touch me or invade my space. he simply turned on his side, whispered a breathless sorry and remained quiet.
