They dont know about us

[Zayn]

Liam promised me he would protect me and Niall, and i felt safe with him. He would change everything and i loved him. 

Richard would be out of our lives for good now, i called my mom and asked her to come to the hospital for Niall. She started to laugh and i heard Richards voice in the background. This doesn't feel right, mom would never hurt me and Niall like this. 

"M..mom, whats going on, your not acting like yourself", I said holding back tears.

"Don't be a little bitch, Richard and i are leaving, you can grab your stuff and go", Mom said without a hint of pain.

I broke inside, hate and anger flowing through my pulse. Richard changed my mom, hurt me and Niall. He fucked everything up, how could he do that, more important how could Mom do that.

I broke down in Liam's arms again and he cradled me back and forth kissing my head.

"Niall is bad condition, we are not sure if he has any brain damage indicating he was hit mostly on the brain", the doctor said with a sad expression.

"Thanks doctor", i said, holding back tears again.

[Liam]

Zayn was broken down and there wasn't much i could do. 

*Ring*Ring*Ring*

Harry: Whats up Liam.

Me: Come to the hospital quick, its Niall.

Harry: *Silence*

The phone line went dead.

About 20 minutes later Harry arrived looking frantic.

"Harry, over here", I said.

Harry rushed over and asked to see Niall. 

I led Harry into Niall's room and Harry started to cry as he grabbed Niall's hand and laid his head on the edge of the bed.

I rushed to Niall's hospital bed and started to weep. My baby, hurt and knocked out. I was mad at myself, i wasn't there for him, I'm stupid so stupid.

"Okay gentlemen, visiting hours are over, only family will be able to stay night", the nurse said in a gentle sweet tone.

"I'm his boyfriend, his family passed when he was small. Please let me stay with him", I said gulping.

"Yeah let him stay, Niall really needs him. I'm his brother but when he wakes up he'll be really happy to see Harry. My mom left us.", Zayn said holding back before bursting into tears.

I looked at Zayn as a way of saying sorry and got up to hug him. I saw the nurse's eyes get watery.

"Fine, this will be our little secret", the nurse said smiling.

Liam and Zayn left and i brought the hospital couch in the room closer to the Niall's bed. I kissed his cheek and whispered in his ear They don't know about us! The love we have. I love you baby, I promise i will never leave your side.

I held Niall's hand and kissed his cheek one more time before getting on the couch to find a comfortable spot. I couldn't find any spot for me that was comfy, so i just got on the bed with Niall and held him close to my chest and heard little breath's coming from him. I smiled and fell asleep knowing i would never let anything hurt him again.
