Break from reality

I thought long and hard on where we were going to take our little road trip but i just decided to wait on the rest of the guys to figure it out, I'm bad at making my mind. Harry woke up next to me yawning and wrapping his arm around my shoulder making me get comfortable in my place. "So have you decided where you want to go babe. I already spoke with Li and Zayn, and they thought it was a fantastic idea", Harry asked in a hushed tone. "Actually, no babe i haven't. I thought id wait to talk about it with the rest of you guys.", i answered back. 

I was really looking forward to this trip, getting out of this town. I love this town don't get me wrong but it also holds so many bad memories that i just want to get away from, and hopefully when i come back those memories will have perished. 

Harry and I got up and folded the blankets and got ready because we were going to meet up with Zayn and Liam to talk about this whole trip rendezvous. I couldn't be more happier than i already am, i mean why would i be, a trip with my boyfriend, brother, and best friend. 

Liam called right as we pulled up to the parking lot of the famous burger joint in town and asked if we were already here. I just hung up and surprised them by sneaking up behind them at the table. "Hey guys", zayn greeted us happily. We sat down and after we finished eating we talked about the place we were going to be going. We decided just to rent a cabin up in the mountains and turn this into a nature cleansing. We originally planned to leave tomorrow but instead we all agreed to leave today because we didn't have anything important to do like we had thought.

Harry went back to his place and me, Zayn, and Liam went back to the house to pack up somethings that we were going to need.

Once we all got home we got packed up and said our goodbyes because this was going to be a long week, i could feel it. Niall told me that it might be good for all of us to get away for a while, from everything that had happened, and i couldnt agree more. Maybe we needed this little break from reality to cope with everything that has happened to us, all the pain weve felt and delt with. I was just happy because this was mine and Liams first vacation together and i just cant imagine how perfect this is going to be for all of us. 

Niall came into our room and told us that harry was on his way to pick us up so we better hurry. "Hey babe pass me my  bug spray from the drawer", Liam asked calmly and smacking my butt. We finished packing and said our goodbyes and we walked out. 

2-3 hours doesn't seem long but it felt like an eternity. Liam sleeping with his cheek smashed against the window, Harry and Niall holding hands having a duet in the front, and me just waiting impatiently dreading having to spend another hour in this car that smelt like monsters and Doritos. I plugged in my headphones and hoped to blur out the surrounding i was in right at this moment, smiling like crazy because i was happy. Not happy that were going on a vacation but happy because for once were all peaceful and in the calms of life once more. Who would've thought that it would've turned out like this. 

After what seemed like forever we finally arrived at the small wooden cabin. Pulling up i saw the big trees fading into the darkness because night was upon us. As we stepped out the car all i felt was the cool mountain breeze and it felt refreshing, to be able to breathe without hesitation. We grabbed all our bags and settled into the cabin, which was already furnished nicely. I was hoping our little vacation didn't turn out to be like a horror movie, last thing i want is to be hacked by some guy in mask with a machete. We sat down and talked about tomorrow, "We should go check out all around us tomorrow", Liam stated. "Yeah i saw a lake behind some trees as we were walking in", Niall pointed out. "a lake huh? hope you packed your swimming trunks, cause i know what I'm doing tomorrow", i laughed. "Hey well its getting late, maybe we should get some sleep if were gonna be up early tomorrow to go looking", Liam said. "Yeah", we all agreed. The night was alive, hearing the breeze rustling through the trees and the crickets chirping, i couldn't wait for tomorrow. 

A/N: Hey guys, its been a while since ive last updated the story. I just wasnt feeling confident in what i was writing and i needed a break from the stress.
