Authors Note: Just so you guys know this when Cas lost his grace so he really can't do much. But thank you guys for reading and I hope you enjoy! I apologize for Castiel's OOC-ness. Also, I originally posted this on my DeviantArt account, my name is wovennature, so you can go check me out if you'd like. (Although I don't have much up.) One last thing, the song can be found on YouTube, by searching Sympathy For Slenderman Song.

Just don't let this song get stuck in your head or he'll show up tonight at the end of your bed,
And no one meets Slender without ending up... dead.

Castiel shivered as the song ended with a scream. 'I am... I was an angel, I shouldn't be afraid of whatever this Slender Man is...' He thought, nearly jumping out of his skin when he heard a knock at his door. The door opened with a quiet creak and as Castiel looked over his shoulder the person on the other side of the door was revealed to be Dean. The ex-angel breathed a sigh of relief.

"Hey, uh, I was just wondering if you wanted some food." Dean said, waving a bag around in his hands before tossing it towards Cas who clumsily caught it. He peered inside and was delighted to find a burger. Dean still leaned in the doorway, a small smile tugging at his lips as he watched his boyfriend happily eat his burger. Cas eventually looked up at him.

"Dean? Can I ask you about something?" He inquired, thinking about the song. The hunter nodded and came over to sit beside him.

"Sure, what's up?" Dean asked, Castiel paused for a moment to swallow a bite of the burger.

"Have you ever heard of the Slender Man, Dean?" He asked, a look of confusion crossed his face and he tilted his head when Dean started laughing. "What's so funny?"

"Nothing, nothing," Dean said, shaking his head, "you're just silly you know that? Considering things like that don't actually exist." Castiel swallowed another bite of the burger.

"But Dean, ghosts and demons exist, so why can't the Slender Man exist?" His voice was laced with utter confusion and again Dean let out a chuckle.

"Cas they're just stories that people on the internet have made up. Where did you even hear about it in the first place?"

"There was a song about it. Saying to have sympathy for poor Slender Man and at the end it said to not let the song get stuck in your head or he would show up at the end of the bed..." Castiel trailed off.

"Then what?" Urged Dean, trying to contain his laughter.

"It said that nobody meets Slender Man without ending up dead." Cas whispered turning to bury his face in his boyfriend's jacket. Dean again tried hard to hold in his chuckles.

"Cas, you're an angel, I think you'll be just fine." He said, but turned to embrace the shorter man nonetheless.

"Correction Dean," Mumbled Cas sadly, his hands coming up to grip the sleeves of Dean's jacket, "I was an angel of the Lord." Dean sighed and hugged him tighter.

"Look, what I'm trying to get at is that you'll be fine, you're safe here with me you know." Castiel just nodded into his chest and smiled when he felt the hunter holding him press a kiss to the top of his head. "Now why don't you finish up your burger then we'll head to bed since it's getting late."

The fallen angel reluctantly pulled away from the warmth and comfort of Dean's arms. He said nothing as he ate and watched the hunter strip down to a tee shirt and boxers. As he finished with his food, he tossed the trash into a small bin beside the bed and he shrugged out of the well worn tan trench coat. He changed into more comfortable clothes as he and Dean settled down into bed. As soon as the light was flicked off, he inhaled a sharp breath and moved closer to Dean who pulled him into his arms.

"Cas you're going to be fine okay? He isn't real." He said reassuringly, his breath warm against Cas' ear, who snuggled closer, if that was possible.

"Okay, I trust you." Castiel said, leaning up to press his lips gently against Dean's, who more than happily kissed him back.

"Good, sleep well Cas." He murmured, laying one last kiss to his forehead before they both easily fell asleep.

Unbeknownst to the two inside the room, Sam had been passing by and just happened to catch little snippets of their conversation. Now he grinned to himself and went to go get something ready. It was probably a bad idea, but oh was it worth it.

----

Sometime later in the night Castiel had woken up and was now tossing and turning, trying to find a more comfortable position in Dean's arms, who still lay fast asleep. Cas sighed softly and closed his eyes attempting to fall back into a somewhat decent slumber, he could've fallen back asleep until he heard the sound of shuffling by the end of the bed. His eyes snapped open and he saw a tall figure standing there, seemingly without a face. A yelp escaped from his lips and he clung to Dean, watching with horror as the figure moved closer.

"Dean! Dean wake up!" He whispered trying to shake the hunter awake. He earned a groan and a muffled 'whaaaat?' It soon registered in Dean's mind that someone was trying to wake him up, he slowly opened his eyes to find Cas clinging to him. He then looked over to see the tall figure moving slowly to the side of the bed, this figured just happened to look about the same height as a certain younger Winchester.

Without saying anything Dean managed to free himself from Castiel's grasp and he walked over and promptly hit the figure who let out a soft 'ouch.' Dean glared at the "figure" and pulled him out into the hall, ripping off the white mask in process.

"What the hell Sam?!" He yelled pushing him against the wall, "You really do have a sick sense of humor."

Sam held his hands up in defense, "Whoa there, it was just a joke, calm down. I didn't think he'd get that freaked out." He also mumbled something else that Dean couldn't hear.

"What was that Sammy?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Uh.... Gabriel! Help please." Sam called out, grinning once more as the archangel popped in and gave a quick click of his fingers, making them both disappear. Dean just groaned softly and rolled his eyes then ran a hand through his hair. He made his way back into the room, slipping underneath the covers next to Castiel who was left shaking from the encounter.

"It's okay," Dean said, kissing Castiel's forehead, "it was just Sam being a bitch again." This caused Cas to let out a very soft laugh.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to freak out like that..." He whispered, moving close to him once more, enjoying his warmth.

"It's okay, you don't have to apologize, just go back to sleep." He mumbled and yawned, feeling him nod.

"Good night Dean, I love you." He said, placing a soft kiss to the hunter's shoulder.

"Love you too Cas."
