"Traitor!" She snarled, pointing her deadly golden blade towards the neck of the beautiful demon. "You know that stone is what holds the two kingdoms from collapsing!"

"I finally have the chance for vengeance...!" He snarled back. "For years I have crept in the shadows of shame, watching you with your glory. Everyone has always come to seek great advice from the beautiful ruler. Well now it's my time to shine."

He stabbed his staff into the ground. It trembled and cracked, splitting.

The army was lined up in rows of eight across and down. Their swords drawn, they charged for the army of the demons.

Swords clashed and blood spilled. Angels and demons fell, taking their last breath as the color faded from their lifeless eyes.

Queen Audrey watched her army fall. The villages were set aflame, the stone ceiling from the castle falling and crushing both Angels and Demons. 'I must keep the stone safe!'

She charged for Lord Jack, slamming her fist into the pit of his stomach. His lips turned up into a smirk, landing his own fist into her throat. Queen Audrey gasped for breath and stumbled backwards.

"Dark Soul!" He raised his sword. A black light busted through the ceiling, killing most of the queen's army.

"I will not allow this!" Eyes glowing white, she spread her magnificent wings and gripped her sword tightly in her blood stained hands.

The black light soon turned into an orb and was throwing directly at the Dragon's Stone.

"HEAVENS SHIELD!!" Her voice echoed through the damaged castle. The blinding bright light collided with the black orb. The force was so strong that it exploded, killing the demons army.

The castle began to tremble as Queen Audrey fell to her knees. There was only three members left of her army. Their raw flesh was torn opened and one was missing an eye.

The eldest one stumbled forward. "You're highness, the castle can't take this kind of pressure...! We have to go, now!"

"No. No Melissa." Queen Audrey coughed. "Please...take my sword and go." Her shaky arm reached out and handed Melissa the golden blade. Tears stained her cheeks as she gave a week smile. "Take it and go...find a new home and rebuild The Angel Kingdom. Please...protect the stone. Do not let this battle go in vain."

"B-but-"

"No buts! Go Melissa! Take Emily and Charlotte with you...go now! The building won't hold up much longer!"

With that, Melissa took the golden sword and the precious Dragon's Stone. She rushed out of the castle with her two companions. Taking one last look at Queen Audrey, her mentor, she followed Emily and Charlotte into the darkened clouds.

'Go my children...Build a strong kingdom. Defeat Lord Jack. For I have failed, but there is no doubt that a savior will come. Kin of your kin. Not by blood, but by the stars. She will hold the power of the heavens in her hands....'
