It was beautiful. Buildings of pure white marble lined the golden stained streets. As she walked past the buildings, she noticed shops with items like: stopwatches, glass figurines, lamps, center candles, clothes for men and women, and spell books. Looking to her left she noticed a bakery with a fresh pie sitting by the window sill.

A few people waved at her. Larger elves waved at her as they lead their unicorns through the village. Small children ran around. Others stayed in groups and practiced magic spells.

"This is the Star Village." The elf from before said. "It's the village closest to the Capital."

He waved at the people he passed and continued to lead her through the village.

Other things Katherine saw was a bookstore (something she would really enjoy), jewelry store, a furniture store, swords, wands, magical potions, any magical item you could think of.

The elf made a right turn, then a left, two more rights, and another left. They reached a covered bridge made with smooth wood. Below it was a crystal river.

"Cmon now. Let's get to the castle." He said. "And remember not to be so afraid just because she's the Angel Queen. She's very kind and won't hesitate to help anyone in need."

The castle was very large and made of white stone. Stone steps lead to the golden doors of the castle. Around the front, beautiful white and black roses bloomed. There was a very tiny pool by the steps also. It had a mini waterfall and tiny tadpoles swimming in it.

"Get ready. There are exactly three hundred steps." The elf sighed. "The steps were built by Queen Melissa herself. She was the second queen of Angel Land. Right after Queen Audrey, who was the first Queen."

"Where is Queen Audrey now?" Katherine asked, following the elf up the stairs.

"She's dead."

"B-but I thought Angels and all magical creatures are immortal."

He shook his head. "No no. That's wrong. Everyone dies. Even here. Once someone dies here, they go to an unknown land where they live forever and wait for their loved ones to join them."

"You mean Heaven?"

"No no! This is Heaven my dear."

"Then everyone here is all dead."

"No no no!" He chuckled. "Everyone who is here right now was born here. Except for you. You're actually the first human who has entered Heaven. Um...how exactly did you get here in the first place?"

"It might seem strange."

"My dear, everyone here is strange."

"Well I had just gotten out of school when I noticed a small light. It led me to this beautiful forest. I fell asleep there. I found a lake and berries and ended up finding a crystal in the water the next day. It was large and pink. That same day, the light led me to a large oak tree. It didn't have a doorknob, but it did have a slot that was big enough to hold the crystal. So I put the crystal inside the slot. And now, here I am!"

The elf's eyes widened slightly at the story. "N-now now come on, hurry up. Only a few more steps to go."

Once they reached the door, the elf stepped in front of her to block her from touching the doors.

"Don't. Humans aren't allowed to touch the doors. If you touch them, you will be shocked. Allow me." He opened once if the doors and walked inside, followed by Katherine.

Inside, the castle was painted a royal red color. Magnificent portraits hung from the walls. Sunshine peeked through the glass pained windows. From the center of the ceiling, hung a magnificent chandelier. The sun reflected off them and created patches of light on the walls.

A tall girl with brown hair and freckles ran up to them. She was dressed in a maids outfit.

"Welcome to the castle Zino!" She smiled widely.

'Zino....so that's the elf's name.'

"Well, I found this girl on a cloud while I was out trading with the Moon Village. She doesn't have a place to stay, and I must ask Queen Olivia if it's alright for her to stay the night."

"Why of course! I'll take you to her! She just came back from a walk in the garden. Please, follow me."

The freckled girl led them through the beautiful castle. It was massive. A two way, polished staircase led to the many floors of the castle. The glass pained windows glistened and the walls didn't have a scratch on them.

"She's in her room, I'll go fetch her. Wait down here please."

The girl Quincey ran up the steps and disappeared behind a wall.

"Her name is Dawn. She's the maid of this castle. Then we have Matthew, the butler. Justin, the cook. And Sunny. He's the gardener." The elf explained. "You would be very surprised at how skilled they are."

Moments later, Dawn raced down the stairs.

"May I present to you, Queen Olivia!" She quickly crossed her legs and bowed to a beautiful woman. She was about in her thirties, with black hair and green eyes. She was wearing a long white dress that touched the ground, a crown of diamonds, diamond earrings, a diamond necklace, and a diamond ring.

"Your majesty...." Zino got down on one knee and lowered her head. Katherine quickly copied what Dawn did.

"Welcome to Celestial young girl." Queen Olivia walked up to her with a slight smile. "Dawn has told me about you. You need a place to stay for the night?" She asked gracefully.

"Y-yes ma'am!"

Queen Olivia glanced at Zino.

"Zino, may I have a word with you?"

"O-of course."

Queen Olivia walked into another room with Zino.

"She is a human. How exactly did she get here?"

"Your majesty, she found the Cloud Crystal." He explained.

"The cloud crystal..." She repeated. "Zino, you can't mean...."

"Yes...I think she is."

The Queen stayed silent for a few seconds. She then turned around and walked back to Katherine, grabbing both of her hands.

"It's you! I knew you would come!"

Authors Note:

Hi Muffins! How is everyone? I'm good thanks for asking! Hehe~

Anyway, this book will involve romance, just be a patient! I'm going to try to make this book at least 10 chapters or more. It may end up being only 7 or 8 chapters. Forgive me!

That's all for now. Goodbye Muffins!
